I had my first ever scan!!!! YAAAAAAY! I've had no real nausea for a few weeks now, and haven't seen the midwife or doctor or anything since I was around 6 weeks, so it's sorta been like 'I assume I'm actually pregnant...??!' but today it was AMAZING, the bub was kicking and throwing it's arms about, bouncing and rolling over. Was very much right there and doing well! Measured exactly what my dates already were and heart beat was 145.

Anyway! The pics!

it's legs are curled here, but it kept kicking them out straight, propelling itself up and into the space at the top right of the pic, and then sliding down! Just playing and being a goon. heh.

Phantom can't wait to see your scan pics! Haven't heard from you in awhile but then again I have to admit I have been scarce because (I know this sounds silly) I thought if I got on here everyday it would make time go by slower but I can't believe the first trimester is nearly gone! Yay!!

Lil Bear, so glad things are okay and progressing well, some docs can be very insensitive!

I had a scan this past week! Got a little nervous (I am 12 plus 4) and the doctor could not find a heartbeat with a doppler or an external ultrasound, did find baby with an internal! He also found that my placenta is in front of the baby and my uterus is retroverted (Upside down)!? he didn't seem to concerned but I sure am! anyone else have this happen??

wantabelly! How is everything going with you?!!!! an't beleive it's gone either. Actually went by fairly fast looking back now. I haven't been on here as much either partly for the same reason, but i've also been pretty busy at work.

do you have a facebook/skype etc? then we can keep up to date even when we're not on here.

13 weeks tomorrow yay! When I went for my scan I thought I was 13 weeks but I was actually only 10.5 so it seems like its taken ages to get here, now I can feel like Im going forwards instead of backwards lol!

I decided to start a journal (link below my siggy) Its probably not very interesting but I thought I would give it a go seen as a lot of others are doing it and I thought If I record everything that is happening and what Im feeling it will be a wonderful reminder later on when/if we decide to have any more babies.

Im a bit confused with the 2nd trimester and when it actually starts, one of my books says when you are 13 weeks that is your 2nd trimester but others say 14 weeks - does anyone know?
