Old wives gender predicitions

Any tales that were true for some of you moms or moms to be? I find out the gender in about 4/5 more weeks! Yayyy!

Not sure if this helps or not, but my midwife (who has been in practice for nearly 40 years) predicted that our daughter would be a girl. She said that based on her fast, steady heartbeat she just knew. Towards the end of my pregnancy she said she suspected that was the case, and all throughout the labor she became more and more sure, until she said "TOLD you so!!". I guess boy heartbeats are generally a tad slower and they become more stressed more easily so will fluctuate quite a bit during labor, whereas a girl will begin higher and remain steady throughout.

I had all the wives tales point towarda girl including heartbeat & well nope it's a boy the only thing that was right was the ring test.

-Much sicker than with my son
-Carrying a lot lower
-Hair on my legs was hardly growing at all and when i was pregnant with my son it grew really quick lol
-Had lots of spots(stealing my beauty!)
-Craving sweet stuff
-Pendulum test said girl
-Heartrate in 170's at 12 weeks. Sons was 140's

The only thing for me with DD was my shape, I gained all over and had bad swelling. Also very hormonal which is a sign of elevated oestrogen.

This time, absolute opposite with every symptom going and weight gain so who knows..

This pregnancy I'm not as sick as with my son, skin isn't as bad, bubs HB is about 10 points higher than his, and all guesses on my 12 wk u/sound are girl.
But shettles and Chinese gender say boy. We find out in 27 hours!

Nope, not for me. Almost all wives tales said girl and we're having another boy.

All mine pointed to a boy..and she's a girl! been confirmed 3 times by 3 different doctors, so I know she's for sure a girl.

the linea nigra is all the way up to my breast meaning a boy

and the Chinese predictor said boy
and sure enough I am having a boy

I'm having a boy this time, and my 1st trimester was, overall, more miserable. More sickness, headaches, fatique, dizziness, etc. HOWEVER, right, bang-on 14 weeks my symptoms disappeared.. I'm more tired than with DD, but overall have felt absolutely great during 2nd tri. Easier first tri, harder rest of pregnancy with dd!
**Chinese gender charts were opposite with both, lunar age, and all!

What was right for me:
*baking soda test
*daughter stealing beauty!
*35 ibs gained everywhere w/dd (wider)
*all bump this time around (ds)

I'm having a girl. For me these were 'true':
- Slightly increased nausea - I went from none at all with my son to feeling queasy a few times with this one.
- Bad skin in first and second tri
- Higher heart rate (170 at 12 week scan - my son was 140)
- Craved sweets, fruit and chocolate (with my son I craved lemons)
- Ring 'test'
- Chinese gender predictor
- Gender maker pee test turned pink


I don't actually believe in any of these and I know most of them were a coincidence. The whole time I was sure I was having another boy.
