I haven't read all the posts but I'm wondering if someone can offer some suggestions.
After 5-6 years ago I was diagnosed with PCOS by my GP. I have acne, a bit of extra hair and some of my blood tests were suggesting it. I don't know my results but I think my free testosterone was not within the normal limits and a few other things. I'm a healthy weight and I had an ultrasound that showed no cysts. The GP wasn't really concerned and said when I try to get pregnant and I'm having trouble, then it will be something to consider.
I moved cities and have recently started seeing a new doctor. My DH and I have been TTC since November. I started temping in February and I've ovulated every month since then. My periods are between 29-35 days but vary from month to month.
I had a 3/21CD test done last month and my progesterone was a little low so the doctors rerun the blood tests for PCOS (all those hormone levels). That was a few weeks back but I haven't heard anything back. The doctor said if my blood tests suggested PCOS again then he'd maybe recommend metformin but because I'm ovulating normally, probably not.
My DH is saying that all of this temping, timed BD, talking about hormones, medications etc is taking the fun out of it but he's sick of the BFNs like I am.
Any suggestions? I've waited the 6 months recommended for people with PCOS who aren't pregnant by then.
Thanks
