PCOS Buddies (10 BFP)

I know I have to see 3 more high temps I was being rhetorical :haha: I had pretty bad pains the last few days yeah. It has settled down now. Spotting seems to have stopped too.

My biggest indicator is cm, when it turns creamy then i knows fertile week is over.

Wouldluvabub, how was ur test today?

Also how long have u been trying and did u take anything to help? i just wanna update the first page with ur bfp

I think I posted a few pages back, but I received a letter from the hospital saying that gynecology have received my referral. DH has to do a SA and I have to do two cycles of CD 21 progesterone test. They want me to ring after my first cycle CD21 test (next Monday) and make an appointment hopefully for July or August.

My GP has already put me on Metformin and I'm struggling to get past 500mg a day. My charts show I'm ovulating and my CD21 test a few cycles ago was a little low but did show I ovulated. I have a 35ish day cycle so I'm suspecting if I took the test a few days later it'd confirm ovulation.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone can share what might happen at my first appointment? I'm guessing DH should come along (if he's here) and that they might want to look at my charts and do an ultrasound. But apart from that I'm not sure what be the next steps. I'm not counting on Clomid because I ovulate naturally and it's not cheap and I'm going through the public healthcare system here.

Anyone help with what might be in store? Thanks.

I would definitely take your OH because I think it helps them understand what you're going through and it's support for you too.

I should imagine they'll go through both of your medical history, draw bloods, weigh you and possibly and ultrasound. Good luck x

Thanks for your help. I think I'll take DH if he's not away (he's in the army). I'm hoping I'm going to get something out of the appointment and it won't be a 'give it some more time'. Thanks so much

Yeah that's handy to know thanks :) Mine has turned sticky/creamy ish with some streaks of ewcm which I presume is leftover. Still no more spotting. Hoping for a high temp again tomorrow!

So chuffed for you ladies with bfps - giving me hope! X

Haply with my temp rise today, hopefully that will keep rising nice and high. Pretty sure I ovulated in the morning on CD18 so can't wait for my crosshairs to confirm. Going to start progesterone cream tomorrow too, I'm feeling really.positive after all the luck on this thread so far x

AF cramps is a good sign! I have had it with all 4 pregnancies.. including the one that lead to my son.. I actually didnt test with him because I cramps so much like AF that I was SURE it was comming. So excited for you

Hello ladies, and congrats for the BFPs!!!!:happydance:
I'm sorry to jump in, but I was reading the thread and I am in a similar spot. I have PCOS and don't ovulate or start AF on my own. This is my first round of clomid (CD 24) and my Dr. is making me wait to CD 35 to get a blood test/test for ovulation. I'm trying really hard not to symptom spot, but this morning I woke up with cramps and they almost felt like I had pulled a muscle over my uterus. When you were pregnant with your sons, did the cramps last throughout the day, or did they come and go?

Do you have any other symptom?
Im 14dpo and my cramps come and go, havent got my blood test results back tho so i wouldnt follow what i say. I also have crazy dreams and night sweats, sore nipples.

Krissie thank you. How are you feeling now? X

Golden I really hope so, haven't felt this confident I've had a good ovulation in ages. Just hope this 2ww goes quick so I can start poas haha. How are you feeling, any more pregnancy syptoms hit you yet x

Keeping eveything crossed for you Taz!

How u feeling hun? did u bleeding stop?

I'm okay. I only bled 3 days! It's so frustrating. I'm cd 16 with no signs of o. But to be fair I'm not tracking it. I'm tentatively planning clomid and royal jelly for next cycle but it's really gonna depend on how I'm feeling when af arrives.

For now I'm trying to eat better and focus on relaxing during my summer break.

I saw your results...definitely a BFP! I'm sending sticky glue your way! I also woke up with night sweats yesterday, but I thought it was either the clomid or from being in the sun over the weekend. I pulled weeds on Sat. and the back of my thighs are still KILLING me, which I thought it was weird to last this long until I saw people talking about it on here as a pregnancy sign. I'm trying really hard not to symptom spot so I don't get my hopes up, but after reading all of these symptoms that ended in BFPs, it's hard not to!!!

yea clomid can mimic pregnancy symptoms. I honestly didnt get any symptoms until i could see a line. When ppl used to tell me if u have enuf symptoms then u should have enuf hormones to show a line, i used to get so annoyed. But now i know what they meant lol
