PCOS Buddies (10 BFP)

Do you ladies get blazing positive OPKs when you ov? I realised last night that it was only 20miu and it was only just positive on Monday lunchtime and again Tuesday teatime (I was away until then). Does it seem like I just missed the full blown positive while I was away?

I had lots of EWCM, cervix was SHOW, feeling more randy :haha: and had right sided ovary pains that varied in intensity. Did my temp on Thursday morning (1dpo?) and it was high compared to previous cycles. Ironically I stopped temping because I got fed up of not ovulating!!

Less than 3 weeks til gynae appointment.

OPKs never worked for me. I'd get the same faint line every damn day. Got fed up with them. Debating trying them again or not.

Opks always use to work for me. But since May I've confirmed ovulation with temping 3 times but no positive opk. I actually think it's cause I have a very short surge.

So.... I'm fairly certain I ovulated last night. I got an almost positive opk that afternoon and a slight temp jump at my normal temping time. 1.5 hours later tempted again and had a significant rise. Plus I'm having my post o hot flashes. :haha:

So while the doctor says it was a fail for the clomid at least it's not a wasted cycle. :happydance:

And if af arrives in can start femara next cycle as my fertile window will be the week before I go out of town. :happydance:

I've ovulated aso late as cd23 in clomid cd2-6, good luck krissie x

Betty some cycles I get blazing positives and others I don't, I rely on temping to tell me if I actually do ovulate x

Thanks ladies. Guess I should keep up with temping to stop this uncertainty.

Krissie I'm glad u got positive opk! Baby dust to u:)

I always get faint line with opks since I have high LH, but 2-3days before ovulation my opks would go clear and the blazing positive. My opks def didn't get dark gradually.

I started losing my hair like crazy... do you ladies experience this? Thank god i have extremly thick hair, but its terrifying. :( I cried this weekend over it... like what else can start happening uugh F*** PCOS

I did after I had DD. I would legitimately fill my palm after every shower. A hair ball the size of an orange. Daily for months. My hairline started to disappear, but thankfully I too have super thick hair. It's slowed down a lot, but I'm still losing much more hair now than I ever have.

I started losing my hair quite a few years ago. It is so thin compared to what it was. After ds I lost even more. Thankfully that appears to have come back.

I lose hair all the time, before spring and fall to be exact. I donno why its always the same time every year. I have thin hair but super curly so ppl think i got lots of hair lol

Are u still taking ur supplements? if u taking metformin, B12 def can cause hair loss too.

I lose a lot of hair, it's drives me OH mad because he finds it everywhere lol. My hair is really think but because is Curly with a slight afro texture it's hard to tell x

I am terrible.. after the last miscarriage ive kind of just stopped taking everything.. I cant even remember my Metformin at this point.. yesterday I took only one dose, which happens most days so im only getting 1000 now instead of 2000.....Ugh

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I had originally posted in the TTC and was very kindly pointed in this direction by Betty.Rubble so thank you for that :-)

I am going to read my way through this thread now to get up 2 date with you all and then I'll post a little bit about my story if that's ok?

Betty in response to your question. Last time I had bloods done was around mid June, I was only tested for iron and folic acid both of which were low. I need to go back fairly soon to check on my levels of those. Last time I had bloods to check hormone levels was probably at the beginning of the year, is this something I should be asking for more regular? x

Not really but it might be handy to have a full blood work done (LH, prolactin, thyroid, diabetes status etc) so you know where you're at. X
