PCOS Buddies (10 BFP)

Golden- I don't eat a lot dairy as I don't like it. When I was concerned with DS my doctor said to eat a tums or two.

My body drives me crazy.. its been almost 2 years since I have had a "regular" cycle..shortest one yet was 34 days and that was wonderful...but generally its 37-46.. Finally see the fertility clinic and waiting for testing and what happens. A 28 DAY CYCLE!!!I started spotting today...CD 28.. havent had a 28 day cycle since I stopped taking BC. :/

May- that seems like typical timing. I hope it means your hormones are going to balance themselves.

I honestly don't know how long my cycles are ... maybe that's why i'm in driving myself crazy!
But all my symptoms have been based off a normal 28 day cycle. I had crazy TWW crap... and now nothing ... I have a headache, some bubbly tummy stuff, a little cramp here and there, arms hurt a bit, but honestly these are nothing compared to the hell my body put me through last week!
Now that AF is late (according to when i SHOULD be here) I don't know what is going on. I've taken nearly every one of my tests and they are all negative.

I'm trying to stay positive that i'm still in the game, but I don't know what to think.
Testing Wednesday, probably Friday and Sunday... Provided AF doesn't show...

Hi everyone! I am a surrogate and egg donor and now I am trying for my second "keeper" baby haha. I just recently got informed that I have PCOS. I am 25 years old and have never once been told I had PCOS. Anyways, they started me on clomid. The first cycle I ovulated but I didn't get pregnant. I am just now starting my 2nd cycle and am hoping this will be the time it works. Any tips on increasing pregnancy while on clomid? I am nervous and so ready for this to happen! Eeeek.

No tips Shocklee as I haven't had clomid but welcome and good luck!

I truly admire you for surrogacy!

Shock- I don't have to much advice. I have ovulated every time on Clomid but I believe I was becoming resistant and it was thinning my lining. I have now been put on femara and it has been much better.

I would suggest myo-inositol though for PCOS. Some of the girls on here have had great success. I am currently taking it and spearmint and really have noticed a difference.

Love inositol! And spearmint!

Anyway, cd6/7 something like that. Even with being better with my diet my period was super light again. One medium/heavy day and the rest super light. It's got me worried my lining is really thin.....

Well ladies, I haven't posted here in a while. You all are talking about stuff I have no clue about...I'm reading and learning what you are saying.

So after 4 negatives tests last week, I'm not testing today. AF is still awol and no signs she's coming. Normally I spot a few brown days, but i got nothing... My app says that my cm is leaning towards AF, but  she's not here...
I'm thinking that my LH phase is longer than what I thought.
A lot of the symptoms i've had are gone and I'm mainly experiencing headaches and allergies. Still tired, but I think I always am. Some cramping, but that means nothing right now...

If AF still doesn't show i'm testing in the a.m. and then I still have plans for the rest of the week to keep testing. All depending on a spot of red.

Sorry af is still missing Star.

I was so relieved my period was finally longer and heavier. I really think the clomid was thinning my lining. This is the first one I felt like it was semi normal. I am definitely really happy with the femara.

Glad that it's helping you :)

I'm just having a rough day... I'm sure when things actually give me a yes or no I'll have a much better day/week...

Yes, I can understand. I find ttc to be a really difficult thing especially with testing and the unknown. I think my LP has gone from 11 to 12 days and that really messed me up the first cycle it happened. I totally expected my bfp. It happened last cycle as well, except I knew I wasn't pregnant then.

Well... with the constant feeling my uterus is being ripped out and my legs killing me, I'm pretty sure AF is gonna show by this afternoon/evening, probably be starting tomorrow.

So the "i'm pissed at the world" mood actually has a reason now!

So sorry Star. That sucks so much.

What are your plans for this coming cycle?

Well i'm gonna force DH to get his little men checked... and laugh at him ridiculously as i know what he has to do to get a sample :haha:
Cause now that we found the pill the might be the right one, I don't wanna miss any other cycles due to the unknown!!!

I think my fertile week is now a week before vacation ... so that is going to be interesting. I really hope that I don't end up with my crappy acid reflux my whole week out of town though... that would suck something major!

But i'm thinking that I might try to get up a little earlier and perhaps work out before starting my day. A quick little thing like I found on Pinterest. I'm also trying super hard to keep up with a journal planner... so far i'm failing cause it's something else to keep up with, but I really wanna do it, i just have to put my own foot down.

Thats a good idea Star. We had DH tested and found out he had low motility. That allowed us to change our plan when we were ttc DS.

I really hope that he's fine, cause I don't know how he could handle any changes they might suggest. He already wears boxers, he drinks a ton of milk. He's too picky to change his diet, and he doesn't like taking pills... maybe a lotion? idk ...
But i'm praying he's fine and that it's just me who needs to take pills --- i can handle it cause i'm already there!

i've been wanting to start working out anyways, it's just more of an excuse to really get into it.

I'm now late for AF going by my last 3 cycles average of 38 days... Not testing as I am guessing I might be 6dpo. If no AF in a week will test.

Sorry you think AF is coming Star x

Star- to be honest my DH didn't like pills and it was a struggle. But he was drinking a ton of monsters at the time and I think that helped. They have a lot of the stuff recommended for motility. But he stopped that quite awhile ago and we have got pregnant twice. I think it is more that I don't ovulate than anything else at this point.

Betty- fx for you hun!

Afm, trying to get sick. My throat and ear really hurt and that is always my first indicator. I started taking some zinc so hoping that kicks it fast. I really wish I would have kept up with the inositol in the past. I am now a week on it taking 1.5 teaspoons a day and I feel so much better. I don't have the sluggish feel I normally have all day. Tomorrow is my last femara pill so then the lovely wait to o will start.

I am thinking of starting some yoga or meditation in the morning before starting my day. I am alone in the morning and DS is sleeping so something like that could be doable.

The only thing DH drinks a ton of is milk, but he's also outside all day long, so he is replenishing his vitamin D that way... when i say he drinks a ton, at least 4 glasses of 44oz plus what ever he drinks from the carton.

I really think he's fine... but I'd like to know for sure!
