PCOS Buddies (10 BFP)

I think golden had a great suggestion of trying myo-inositol and royal jelly. Do you temp or take opks? That would help you know if you are ovulating. From the sounds of it you probably are.

She said it seems like I have PCOS, but never did any followup work. Then once my period did not come that one time, she said more likely than not I did have PCOS>

Should I just start tracking my temperature? I tried to look at all the different ovulation apps and they look REALLY confusing. I'm also not sure if I should invest in a set of Ovulation tests either.

Officially we've been trying again for about..7 months? Dr said she won't start exploring other avenues until it has been a whole year

P.S. Do you mean Royal Jelly as in the honey?

Royal jelly is actually what is fed to thr queen been to help her produce eggs. It's sold as a supplement.

I would track temps, I do fertility friend and find it pretty easy to use.

I don't think you can really say you have pcos without the labs or at least an ultrasound. She sounds kinda lazy to me.

As far as dealing with af I eat a tub of Ben and Jerry's, some wine and take a bath when she comes. I have been coping less and less better. It's just so difficult and we will be at 2 years this November.

Do you ladies know if its safe to take inositol while pregnant? I feel like im gaining way too much because i stopped taking metformin

^^wss. I will continue taking it during next pregnancy. I was reading it helps with milk production too so many women continue taking it through their entire pregnancy and breastfeeding. It's a b vitamin so what your body doesn't need is flushed out.

Should I be taking 4g like I used to? maybe i will break it down to morning and night

Webmd says "not enuf known so be safe and stay away" hmmm i donno

I would start slow. I wasn't pregnant and I started slow. I started with 500 twice a day and after two weeks did 1g twice a day then 1.5 and now I'm at a little over 2g twice a day so a bit over 4 maybe 4.5g a day. It's a b vitamin. Read the studied done on it during pregnancy. If I web mded all the symptoms I'm having right now I'm sure it would say I have like 8 diseases and I'm perfectly fine. Most things, even vitamins, say not to take during pregnancy or to check with a doctor because they're covering their own behinds. Just do your own research and do what you're comfortable with. But personally I will continue during pregnancy.

I've started on inositol. I am taking half a teaspoon twice a day for now. I've also started on spearmint so really hoping those two things help.

I will be taking 5 mg femara cd 3-7 this cycle. Really hoping I don't ovulate so late this time.

Krisse good luck with the Letrozol!!! I hope it helps you like it did me!
I had o cramps if that helps you.

Afm: I'm testing tomorrow morning. I'm kinda excited. I've had an increase in cm from being dry all last week. My reflux has calmed down (which I really hate that bubbly feeling so ill take it)
I'll let you all know what it says!!!

Still here following everyone, hope you're all well.

I did stop taking metformin as soon as I got my bfp as I hated it and stopped inositol around 8 weeks, I'm thinking of starting that back up but maybe less than I used to take x

Fx'd Star.

AFM - CD35 and still not sure what's going on. Cycles not getting any shorter x

Well right now as it sits it's a negative. *Sigh* I really wish that it wasn't. I still have at least another week to seriously freak out about a missed period. I might buy a few more cheapies, and some expensive ones too. I really only wanted to use the others for assurance after a faint positive. But I'm curious if I just need one that detects lower levels. (Would that be a frer? Or just a fr?)

Anyways… I'm hoping a little line shows up. Or something.

Star- frer is the most sensitive. Sorry it's still bfn. :hugs:

Betty- that's very disappointing. I hope you get some answers soon.

Taz- I'm glad to see everything going well with you.

I got clear blue cause the FR's were all the wavy handle, and I've heard bad things about those... I didn't want to get another store brand,
Plus these had the best price point. Sorry but if I don't have to spend tons of money before hand, then I really don't need to. Plus I'll probably still get a blood test to verify whatever just cause I don't know what's going on this cycle.

Having pain on my left side all today... Along my side from rib to pelvis, and various points in between... but i've had that before, not sure what it is but it's annoying (most of the time I pinned it off as gas, as it's not constant)

Well I'll be using my tests all week. If no sign of AF by next monday I'll have to message the doctor to see what i should do.

I'm still here too. It doesn't look like I've responded to 50mg of Clomid so I'm just waiting to hear what's next. I assume it'll be going up to 100mg. DH and I had hoped we'd be one of those lucky ones who got their BFP on their first Clomid cycle. Just feeling so over it.
