Hey girls, I was curious ...
I know that some girls don't feel O cramps, but us Cysters are a little different... Do any of you girl have O cramps?
I read that you are supposed to have them mainly on one side -- the ovary that is about to release the egg assuming -- but mine are all over the board like pms cramps, middle left and right!

It's hard to look up the Finer information about O cramps cause I keep getting the same information. So I just wasn't sure if O cramps were more popular with us PCOSers or if this is just something that I'm gonna deal with being one of those rare girls who get them....

I just ovulated and I could barely walk I had such bad ovulation pain in both ovaries! I was saying the other night I don't know how people have sex when they ovulate because OWWWW

I get them occasionally. Mostly just on my left side. Sometimes they are on both but that's pretty rare.

Does anyone have any recommendations on when to start using OPKs with an irregular cycle? I mean REALLY irregular.

My last cycles were 16 months and 6 months apart. Before that I was on BCP. I know there's a very high likelihood that I won't O within the next month or so, but I have a bunch of cheapies and want to test in case I can catch one.

Any recommendations on when to start testing? I'm on CD 10 right now.

Smurphy- I have irregular cycles as well. They are shorter than yours though. I usually start testing cd 7 since I have o'd as early as cd 8.

For you it's hard to say but I'd probably start cd 12.

The cycle that I know I ovulated because I had a BFP but then lost it I did feel ovulation pain and it was pretty sore. I needed to sit down but that's about all. I've never felt ovulation pain any other cycle.

I was doubled over with ovulation pain at work this cycle (yay for actually ovulating) on my left. Very intense.

Anyone else use fertility friend? I've gotten my solid crosshairs today, but it put them the day before I feel i ovulated. It put them on Monday when I got my first positive opk. But I got it at night and my nasty O pain was the next day. So I'm wondering if they got it wrong?

I use ff. I have had it get my ch wrong. You can manually override if you want.

It took mine away today. I'm not really surprised as I don't think I've ovulated. My temps have been my normal pre o level all week.

I had a big temp jump today which makes sense as I believe I'm 2dpo not 3dpo as ff says. The crosshairs are solid too which is weird as last cycle they weren't and I'm sure the date it predicted I did O. Oh well I know even if ff doesn't lol. I write them down too so even if ff isn't correct I have the correct one written down.

Aw man why don't you think you've Oed? Did you take Femara this cycle?

Yea, I took 5 mg cd 3-7. I'm so disappointed with these last two cycles and oing so late. I o'd cd 23 last cycle and I'm cd 21.

I only have 2.5 mg left do not sure it's worth taking.

WHen you O late do you still have a good LP? Oing late sucks, but if you still have a good LP pregnancy is stillborn possible. Maybe you need to take it sooner like cd2-6 and/or a higher dose. Can you get more/a higher dose?
I'm not sure how inositol and fertility meds work but maybe they cancel each other out?

(I so had a nice reply all typed up last night, but my computer was being a pain, I was trying to watch a show, and reply during the commercials, but the thing froze, and I forgot I was replying --- AND i was cross stitching .... so yeah I closed the window right as I remembered I typed up something )

Anyways. Today seems to be calmer with the cramps, I really hope that I didn't O with out having any sign of it but that. I mean my CM didn't even change enough to notice.... I'm so testing when i get home. (would have this morning but I was already dealing with other stuff and I was late to work)

I use Ovia -- I tried FF but it's so focused on temping, and I don't temp, so I stopped using it. I still view my chart here and there, but it gives nice updates to let me know what I'm adding for my symptoms and such are on track with where I should be, which gives me nice hope that I'm doing it right!

Kylas- my lp is always the same regardless of when I o. So that is nice. I need to schedule my yearly exam with my doctor so will ask him then about next steps or a higher dose. That appt will probably be early December or so.

Well that's good. At least if you ovulate late you still have a shot.

Star- I am glad you are feeling a bit better. Fx for o this cycle. I usually get good fertile cm even with fertility meds so that has helped a lot.

Thanks Kylas. This whole journey has been so difficult. I talked with DH a bit today about it so that has made me feel a bit better. He is gonna start some vitamins as soon as I get them so we at least can cover his end of things. I am thinking of just waiting and talking with my doctor on December 7th. I might just take the 2.5 mg that I have left next cycle and then talk to him then about next options.

I do have 4 rounds worth of clomid left. But that last cycle on me really left me leery of trying it again. I was just a hot mess both physically and emotionally that cycle. I don't know if it was the higher dose or the fact we did 3 months in a row. But it was not good for sure!

Have any of you ladies tried Resveratrol? There was a recent study about the benefit of red wine for women with PCOS as the resveratrol lowers testosterone. There was an increase in pregnancies in the resveratrol group vs. the placebo group.

I don't like red wine so I thought about ordering resveratrol as a supplement.

Ff had put my crosshairs at cd20. Now it's moved them to cd22. Pretty sure I ovulated cd21 lol. It's like dancing around it. I had bad bad o pain cd 21 and my first positive opk was cd20. In the morning it was nearly positive and when I tested after worknat 5 it was positive so I feel itnwould have been positive much earlier in the day. So I think it's more likely I Oed cd20. ??

How are your temps looking now Kylas? Sounds like you did o either way.

I got another positive opk on cd 24 so not sure what to think. It is my third one this cycle so hopefully I actually o now.
