PCOS Buddies (10 BFP)

Due to lack of scientific evidence, I decided to decline all the vaccines.

Im planning to get the whooping cough right after birth, and my husband will get it week or so before my due date. Im planning to keep the baby home for 4-6weeks and not accept any visitors. I got no family here in Canada, just my mom, brother and sil that can visit and they already got the whooping cough vaccine for my niece last yr.

I'm in the UK and had whooping cough and flu vaccine with DD - will get them again this time.

How is everyone doing?

Doing okay here.. Started clomid last night. So just waiting and waiting before more waiting at this point.

To be honest, I am not really feeling optimistic about clomid working for us anymore. So just going to let it play out for now and see what our next steps can be.

Hope it does work Krissie x

5 weeks here and very tired. Been sent home from work early because I'm yawning my head off and my eyes keep dropping.

Hope it works Krissie!! <3 Im feeling SO frustrated. The fertility clinic im dealing with is honestly unbelievable. I feel like im talking to a monkey! the woman forgets things..last cycle i was not able to do the testing because she kept telling me she would call me back but she would forget what she was suposed to do and then say it would be done the next day. :/ now today she is doing the EXACT same thing! uuuuugh i just want these tests done so i can maybe get Femera!

Still waiting over here. This cycle and one more then we try! Freaking out a bit to be honest lol. I probably wouldn't be as much if OH and I could do it on our own, but we use a donor who is pretty far from us now hat we moved so really nervous about how it's all going to work out.

Betty- hope the exhaustion doesn't get too bad for you.

May- how frustrating!! That sounds so ridiculous. I hope you are able to get things sorted for this cycle.

Kylas- hopefully you can figure out the logistics of it and it won't be too difficult. Fx you get as lucky this time as the others and won't have to worry much about it.

That is one worry I have if we have to be referred to an RE is that we live 2 hours away. Both DH and I work opposite shifts so it just would be a nightmare.

Ladies, my doctor gave me the paper work for glucose test and told me to do get it done before our appointment (Dec 2nd). If I go for the test Nov 20th, is that too soon? or should i wait an other week and go?

I had my Sonohysterography, OUCH.. Feel fine now and it was all good news. Uterus looks 100% normal, tubes are clear and open..ovaries looked great...Im CD 11 today, we could see a ton of follicles on both ovaries, the fertility doctor said I should have another "regular" cycle this month and it looks like I will be ovulating from my left ovary soon.. There was a huge follicle on that ovary, much larger than the rest...but I have read that follicles shrink and grow throughout a cycle for women with PCOS so i dont know if I want to put any hope it in.

I also did something for fun this week that I have been wanting to do for almost a year. I got a reading done by Saelyn. She gave me such great information, very very nice to have done.

Hope all you ladies are doing great!

May55 thats great news! how if they give u clomid to keep that follicle big?

How was the reading? was it online?

I ovulated on 100mg of Clomid! I'm just so happy to at least be in with a chance!!

No chlomid.. it would be too late in my cycle to take it anyways wouldnt it?

The reading was online, by a woman I have heard nothing but amazing things about on this TTC forum and on many others.. She really gave me a lot of info, many things that made me kind of say wow shes right. Like I didnt tell her I was seeing any fertility specialist, she told me she see's me getting some help but that I wont actually need it, that my body will do it on its own.. many many things.. really felt good.

That is fantastic news May! I hope that you ovulate on your own soon. CD 11 is too late to take clomid. I have heard of women taking femara later in their cycle but usually only to promote follicular growth and that doesn't seem to be a need for you.

Sarah- that is awesome that you ovulated! Fx for you hun.

CD 10 here so just waiting to o. Negative opk today but that was expected.

Do you ladies have signs of ovulation? im not doing opks or temping anymore..I dont really get any signs of it since we started ttc, Im only CD 13 and I have odd cramping...Not intense or anything but definetly something I notice... Im not sure if that could be ovulation comming or maybe an issue because of the SIS I had... :/which would be concerning. Do any of you have cramping Before ovulation? I was thinking id O in 2 days..

Past few cycles I've gotten gotten nasty O pain and a ton of cm. This cycle O pain isn't as bad, but still a ton of cm. My o pain always coincides with ewcm and positive opks so it's only when I'm ovulating.

Im really wondering if it might be a complication from the SIS... :/ It doesnt feel like its exactly my ovary.. its a dull aching, more to my left which is where I expected to ovulate from, but it seems to be more central.. I should take an OPK just to see how it would turn out..generally they dont work well for me :/

How are you feeling May?

How is everyone else doing?

Things are going slow here, still waiting to o. But I suspect it will be soon. Fx'd anyways.

My temp dropped and I feel like I'm out. Having a really down day and DH is away. Still have to get up and go to work. Hopefully I can hold it together.
