pens/paint i can use on mugs

My mum said she wanted some new mugs for xmas so i decided it woulod be a good idea to buy 6 plain ones and put LOs hand and foot prints on them

can anyone tell me which paints i would need that will last long on her mugs but are safe to do hand and feet prints with

I used some special pens from ebay but I don't think they would have been ok to use on hands- maybe you could draw around the hand, colour and print it? x

i think you need to use acrylic paint but thats not safe for hands and feet..........like ^^^^^^^^ said maybe buy pens and draw round hands/feet....x
