Pinched this from 3rd Trimester...LOOK....

Huggies always gave my 3 awful rashes, and the huggies wipes are so thick, they're difficult to use.. but, while being thick, still tear really easily!? Dunno how they managed that :dohh:

Thats a good deal, Ive bought loads of nappies already. I havent bought any branded ones yet though but I will defintiwely check this out. I have some tescos own, boots own and Morrisons own. They are so tiny :cloud9:

im going to get a load of these as for the first month i tend to try all different brands to see which baby is mor ecomfortable with and less likely to get nappy rash with.
then once that is estabished i know which brand to buy. i do think it is a bargain though as the asda ones work out as only £1 a box with the voucher and you get a huggies £2 off voucher in your bounty pack so your first pack can be only £1 as well!
but just to let you pampers women know - Asdas little angels newborn and second stage nappies are made by the pampers factory so if your wanting cheap nappies that are good quality then asdas little angels are the way to go! xx

Sainsburys also do a free pack of Huggies with a voucher in their baby Club pack.

i might get these, i am using cloth nappies but want a few disposables for the 1st few days of meconium ..dont want my pretty fluff getting ruined lol !

Asda's are exactly the same as pampers i've used them to xx

How do u clean the re-useable ones and why r they better than disposable?

I saw that deal I got two of the huggies starter packs for £6 bargain!!!!! I was being a bit of a brand snob and wanted only pampers but then I saw the price of nappies and decided it's a waste to not buy bargains and my baby is being potty trained at 3 months.

Ha ha ha! Best idea I've read on here so far! Imagine the savings in nappies never needed. Now that's something genetic scientists should look into. Never mind this choosing the gender malarkey. Grow babies with an awareness of when to go toilet! :haha:

Hey Ladies, got my 2 pack from boots today for the grand total of £4.66 lol, going back 2moro to get some more lol,but for the money I have just saved on the nappies alone the wipes can rip as much as they like lol,oh and my Asda was still selling them for £5 not £3,dont know about anyone elses!!!

i prefered huggies, pampers always seemed to leek, so whenever asda have their baby event i get these newborn boxes. As for a baby being potty trained at 3 months? i wish! but could never happen until after they start walking which is around 1 year good luck though!

I prefer Huggies diapers but Pampers wipes.

Sounds like a good deal. Guess I should start stocking up on both.

Those herbal wipes are meant to be good they got an award this year. Can't remember what they are called for organic mums. I think its just a fad though really I trust the tried and tested.

washing machine , reduced landfill - i think i read each child in nappies creates 10 tonne of waste to landfil ( i cant remember excat figures mind you )and saves you a whole heap of money in the 2 and half - 3 years you be using nappies , more if you have more children :) i have also found less nappy rash and less smell than disposables , my eldest was in disposables and my youngest for a while but no going back now im converted lol plus they are sooooo pretty now you can get them with all sorts of pictures/patterns / kids names on them etc .
take a look in the natural parenting section on here for more/better info than i can give you .

Im using pampers, never got on with huggies, and pampers are only a few pence
more than huggies anyway. x

would love to know how your going to get your baby potty trained at 3 months? I'm still struggling to get DS to use his and he's nearly 3 years old, would love to get this one 'done' early...tips please, pretty please![/QUOTE]

hi hun, my daughter has just been potty trained and turned 2 three weeks ago, i find that she didnt even like the potty it was straght on the toilet, i just left her nappy off (hid them):haha:

i took her to the toilet like every 5 min, and on the third day she was asking me to go, as i already have 2 boys and 2 girls i have found that girls can be abit quicker than boys as they are "supposedly" have a more sensitive feeling, it is worth trying tho...

good luck..:flower:

hey chick, my son learned, believe it or not, by being curious and watching my husband to see what big boys do for a wee. Jacob never really liked his potty anyway so he was happy with his little stool and standing up like a big boy, lol. sometimes though he can still miss aim.... thats annoying. but he was 2nhalf when he mastered this. he is going to be four in january. scary thought.....

my boy still misses now, come to think of it so does oh sometimes!! lol easily distracted i guess

You put them in the washing machine. In my opinion they are better as in the long run they are a lot cheaper. I have also heard that sometimes children can be potty trained a little quicker as the reusable ones are more noticeable to them when they are wet.

Hi ladies i seen videos on Youtube about some ladies potty training their baby from 6 months, no kidding! It takes a lot of patience but it could be done. Check on Youtube Natural infant higiene.

wow this is good im going to pop to town and pick one up today! Hope they still have some left!! I don't really have any idea about witch nappies are better, pampers or huggies etc, this is my first baby so i think i will go for a bit of both lol x
