Mizuno, hang in there. I have a bunch of drama with my almost 17 year old daughter. She thinks she knows everything , is "in love" and can't wait to graduate and move out. Ugh. Can't we just fast forward thru the hard teen crap. All the rest is fun. I hope to God I'm having a boy this time. Girls are so hard as teens. Being pregnant and her crap is sending my emotions thru the roof. That's how I'm surviving my 8 week wait.

Had my 12 week scan today. Everything is fine. I'm measuring at 12+3 and baby seems to be having fun leaping about lol. I'm.over the moon

Im 15 weeks with our IVF twins

Our first born was also an IVF baby so we consider ourselves unimaginably lucky to have habe 2 cucles both resulting in a bfp!

We're due august 22nd but our twins will be making an appearance on the 5th august (37 weeks) via c-sec!

Mizuno and PostalMom - I'm sorry that your clinics are making you wait so long. Be sure to check in with your OB office to see about when you need to schedule your first visit with them. My OB wanted to see me before the first trimester ended so that she could go over my options for testing that is offered as the end if the first trimester nears. Some OBs also book up early, so it's good to get your appointments lined up either way.

PostalMom - Don't forget to PM me your address. I'm back in the office tomorrow and will be able to confirm that I have some Crinone to send to you. I already got a small box to send it in.

Hi and welcome! Your post grabbed my attention as for how do you know now you're having C and what week? Funny my actual due date is 8/5. But I am guessing 7/15 or so at 37 weeks?

Flagirlie - with my last labour I was left paralysed in my left leg due to medical negligence, so even if I was to have a Singleton my consultants plan was to always have a c-sec to minimise further damage to the leg, thefact we ended up with twins just kind of sealed the deal, I saw my pregnancy consultant at my first antenatal clinic at 12 weeks and he booked me in for my c-sec then and there

hey postal, sorry to her your daughter is causing you extra drama at this point, but at least it keeps your mind off obsessing over the pregnancy. Do your kids know you're pregnant? Does anyone else (other than your DH, of course)?

I'm hanging in there. My symptoms come and go and when they go I worry about all kinds of horrible things that could go wrong. But I'm trying not to stress too much and just keep focused on work to help me get by. I need more stuff happening to keep me occupied
I think I need to get out more but, I haven't actually gone out since ET because every time we go out, there's drinking involved, generally with me leading the pack And now that I can't drink I'm not sure how to hang out with people without them realizing something is going on (we don't want to tell people yet). We are going out for dinner with another couple next week and I know they will want to order a bottle of wine, and if not that, it will look really weird if I don't order any drinks. I wouldn't use the antibiotic excuse - it's so transparent - but I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

Mizuno - Can you say that you can't drink for one of the following reasons? 1) It's your turn to be the designated driver, 2) you have a headache and think the booze will make it worse, 3) you have to get up early in the morning, 4) you're trying a new diet, 5) you gave up booze for lent (which started today).

Mizuno, I don't have an answer for that. I didn't keep any of mine a secret. I can understand why couples do it, but my s.i.l. keeps her secret for way too long and then everyone gets thier feelings hurt and then doesn't want anything to do with her pregnancy. It's sad. It's how she goes about it. I was so excited I made it all of like 30 seconds. You could always try the closer to honesty answer of. . My period is late and I don't want to drink just in case.

postal - I don't understand why people's feelings would be hurt when your SIL didn't tell them? My SIL actually told everyone right away and then had a miscarriage and then had to tell everyone about that - not pleasant. But I think it's great that you feel comfortable enough telling people. I guess I just feel that if it doesn't work out, I don't want everyone feeling sorry for me and for the rest of my life looking at me thinking, oh, that poor couple, they tried it didn't work and now they are childless and their lives suck. Which, btw, is not at ALL how I feel about childless couples, but trust me in my family that's the general feeling. So, in short, yeah, telling the truth is not an option

I might just try to tell the server in private to bring virgin drinks for me and not broadcast it to the whole table

mizuno, I would just tell ppl you guys are trying for a baby if they ask. That's what I always said and no one gave me sh$t about it even though I use to be a total lush

Good luck with glucose screening, that liquid was NOT that bad, contrary to what others said.
