They recommend orange flavor if you have a choice. I picked fruit punch and it wasn't too bad at all! Unfortunately I failed 1-hour test so now have to do the scary long one!

Anyway I have been MIA for a few days, hubby got pretty sick mentally and physically. Something triggered his anxiety/panic attacks and all the bad stuff from the past is coming back to hound him like PTSD. He was vomiting a lot too. Took him to ER three times by the times someone decent helped him! Now his stomach is fine although he still eats not that much and I do make sure he does. He's on meds that make him sleep all day and all night. All this coupled with my hormones is awful and I keep crying a lot! I really think I win the award for one of the worst pregnancies so far!

:hugs:Flagirlie, I'm so sorry to hear about your dh. You poor thing. I can only imagine what you've been thru. I hope he gets better soon. My little brother has ptsd. So I can sympathize.

Mizuno. My 1st niece she was 5 months before she told any one. The 2nd she was 6 she third she was 8. She's not really very nice unless everything is about her. Her 4th she had my daughter's at her house over the summer, she told all of her kids and nieghbors. She hates my mother and didn't want her to know, but her kids told my mother, and she accused my poor daughter and called her all kinds of cuss words, called my daughter a liar and insisted that her 5,3, and 2 year old wouldn't have said anything. She actually miscarried at 7 weeks, but she told every one that she miscarried with the same pregnancy different 4 times over 4 months and that it was a boy. . All kinds of lies. Her story frequently changed. She pretended to be supportive of me but as soon as I got my bfp she hadn't spoke to me since. I don't know exactly why she wanted to keep them all secrets, she doesn't have the normal reasonings. Sorry to tell you all that. I just didn't want you to think I was judging those who want to keep it quiet. Ivf is hard enough without hearing peoples negative thoughts. I had my fair share.

Thanks, ladies! I'm going for my test as soon as the lab opens, so I'll be going on an empty stomach. Hopefully I won't regret all of that glucose on an empty stomach. What do you think? I definitely hope I pass the first time around.

I'm sorry that you failed the first one. I've read that most people who fail the first pass the second one. :hugs: I'm also so sorry to hear about your poor DH. I hope you both feel better soon!! :hugs:

PostalMom - I'm sorry that you had to deal with the negativity. :hugs:

Glad with the glucose test! It's not horrible but it's not great either. I hate finger pricks and I failed it once before too. Lol

Good luck Disney!!!!
My doctor hasn't even mentioned the test. Hmmmmmmm.... I'll give them a ring later.

AFM- today is Little Chick's official viability day!!! It is still way too early for her to even think about making an appearance, but it is another thing I can check off my long list of worries.

Hope everyone has a great day!

chickadeedee - good luck with your scan today!

disney - not sure what the glucose test it, but it sounds yummy to me :) I gather from the comments here that it is not :) Good luck!

flagirlie - so sorry to hear about your DH being sick and you having such a hard time. :hugs:

postal - yeah, you SIL doesn't sound quite like me - I won't wait 5 months and tell all kinds of lies. Just a few :)

AFM - my symptoms are nearly all gone, except for heartburn and a bit of queasiness. I'm tempted to take an HPT tomorrow just to reassure myself. I know, I know, I shouldn't, but this wait is driving me totally batsh*t crazy

MFM suggested doing a glucose test early due to me having PCOS. Do they prick your fingers or arms??

Thanks everyone for your kind words :)

Mizuno - hang in there. I went weeks before I felt any symptoms at all.

Thanks. I think I drink the liquid, hang around for an hour, and then get my blood drawn from my arm. They will also be checking my iron levels again as my OB said it can change during pregnancy (mine was last checked when I started seeing her around 10 or 11 weeks. I can't remember if she ordered any other bloodwork since I'm already going to be at the lab. I really hope there are no sick people there as I have to sit in the waiting room for the full hour.

Mizuno-- The MS only started for me starting Sunday and it hasn't been bad. My nipples are sensitive, but my boobs don't really hurt. They have gotten a little bigger. We graduated to an OBGYN today from the specialist. Baby's heart rate was 174, measuring 2 days ahead, and looks like a teddy graham, Lol.

Mizuno - I had very few symptoms either.. I would PRAY for morning sickness just for reassurance  repeat after me: every pregnancy is different :hugs: and please don't test... Because if it's not as dark as before (because you have too much HCG in your system now), you will bring on a whole other level of crazy :haha:

Disney - how did it go!?!?!?!

Mizuno, don't test…I did at 7 weeks and got a very faint line and freaked out. There's something called the Hook Effect where your HCG level will actually go down at some point. Argh, that was unnecessary stress!

Chick, happy V day!!! :hugs:

I'm going on Monday. Happy V-Day!! :happydance:

I'm starting to think my rationality has gone out the window and that pregnant hormones ate completely in control. I cry, I laugh, and my mother in law Is really irritating me. Nausea is always near by. I see or smell food that doesn't sound great. ... I can't help but gag. My hiccups are turning into a sport. I barely slept last night. Ugh.

Awwww Postal, hugs!!

I have officially cried in public twice today over a book that I bought for my Daughter... Oh the joys of hormones!!!

Chickadee. . Lol.. I almost yelled at an old lady while I was at work.

FOOD AVERSIONS. .... WHO HAS THEM AND WHAT? ??

I can't stand pork, or turkey, and Taco Bell just made my list.

Hello ladies :) I'm new to this board. I just went through my first IVF. Last week Thursday I found out I'm pregnant. My husband and were very happy to hear thr news but now I worry a little. I was reading a lot of blogs and it seems like everyones first hcg was high were mine was only 54. Also I had 3 ectopic pregnancies before so we had to remove my fallopian tubes. They are gone but I can feel some discomfort on my left side and I keep wonder if its possible it could be happening again. It drives me nuts and I dont know what to think. What else could be causing this discomfort?

Hi koshka, welcome! Your beta sounds fine as long as it keeps going up. Worry is completely normal. We all do it. I had lower left pains and medium menstrual cramps along with lower back pain that seemed to line up with my left front pains. How many did yall put back? Are you taking progesterone?
