Reaction to yoghurt

Ever since i have been giving LO toddler yoghurt and cheese he has started to get a excema type rash. Not much but just a few patches under his armpit on his tummy and a bit under his chin and on his neck. But then one day we went to a cafe and i brought him a yoghurt, then that night i undressed him for his bath and he had a really bad rash on his chest so i took him to the doctor. The doctor said it was a reaction to the yoghurt i had given him. Are toddler yoghurts that different to regular yoghurts in terms of how much dairy are in them? Because he never reacted that bad to his toddler yoghurts.

We have now cut out dairy from his diet except his formula and his excema seems better.
