im sick of wasting my spare time away watching trashy TV! So reccomend me a good book, it can be about anything!

Wild Swans:Three Daughters of China by Jung Chang

Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden

from the corner of his eye - dean koontz

 I've read that one and really liked it.

I'm reading The Waiting Room by F.G. Cottam at the moment and so far so good. It's a ghost story and is already quite creepy.

A Kind of Intimacy by Jenn Ashworth - it's about a woman called Annie who moves house and develops a crush on her neighbour but things turn nasty. It's very good.

The Witches Trinity by Erika Mailman - about a woman in Germany who is accused of being a witch and her to prove her innocence or be burnt at the stake.

The End of Mr Y by Scarlett Thomas - hard to explain and all the science stuff can be a bit confusing if you aren't a science person (I'm not) but the book is great and worth sticking with. Ariel finds a very rare book that is believed to be cursed and finds her life is in danger in a very strange way. Actually anything by Scarlett Thomas is good, her others are Popco and Our Tragic Universe (my favourite of hers and an easier read than Mr Y but still sciencey).

I LOVED this book - it is very strange though! Want to pick up Our Tragic Universe, will have to amazon it later x

It's good, I really recommend it. I was lucky, I won it on Library Thing as on Early Reviewers copy so I got to read it before it was out in the shops and I really enjoyed it. I hope you like it.

Anonymous - The Book with no name (really good mystery, thriller, action book)

The Weight of Silence by Heather Gudenkauf is good, along with anything by Lucy Dillon (feel good chick lit) Jodi Picoult, Maggie O'Farrell, Sophie Hannah, Lucie Whitehouse, Kate Morton, Dorothy Koomson and Emma Donoghue

Hunger games, mocking jay, catching fire.... AMAZING series!

The Choice by Susan Lewis
This is the blurb on the back
Sometimes the nightmare can last forever... Nikki Grant has her whole life ahead of her when she discovers she’s pregnant. But she welcomes the news with joy – the baby will be a wonderful addition to the happy household she shares with the love her life, Spencer James, and three close friends. Nikki’s parents have a very different view of what the baby is going to mean to their daughter’s future. Deeply disapproving of Spencer and the friends Nikki has chosen, their frustrations reach breaking point when Nikki refuses to be controlled by them any more. After she storms out, a rift opens up between them that breaks their hearts, but they are all too proud to back down. Baby Zac arrives and is perfect in every way. And with Spencer’s career taking off they are ready to make the big move to London. Then suddenly events start to rush them down a very different road and nothing could have prepared them for where they find themselves. It is a frightening and alien place with Zac at the centre of it and Nikki desperately trying to hold onto her baby, her life, her dreams. And as they become evermore embroiled in a world they cannot escape, the love between Nikki and her son is put to the kind of test no parent should ever have to face…

One of the best books i've read in a while x

Anything by Marian Keyes. The time travellers wife. My favourite book is guilt by association by Susan R Sloane. xxx

Have you read Steig Larsson?

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is the first of the 3 in his series.

The movie will be out in the US in Dec and the Swedish version is already out, but the book is really riveting!

Also try Freedom by Jonathan Franzen
