Thought I would update everyone, I am now on CD32..AF still has not shown up..I normally have 29/30 day cycles..if she doesn't show up today or tomorrow then I'm going to test on mon..

Toadly it gave you the dotted line because you have fertile cm one day after and your 1dpo rise isn't really drastic. It just means they aren't positive that's when you ovulated.

So it's currently cd67... no period and all tests bfn.

I got a positive peak digital opk on 15 august but I obviously didn't ovulate cos I haven't had a period since.

Went to my gp last week who ordered blood work to check hormone levels and I go back on 3/10 for an internal before being referred for a scan.

I rang doctors yesterday and was told that my blood work was all normal - no further action.

Any ideas what is going on? Surely my hormones must be out of whack to go this long without a period?

My periods have always been irregular, between 31 and 39 this year (have been tracking them accurately since Dec last year) the longest was 64 days dec16 to feb17.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Ps found out today that one of my good friends who I knew was trying at the same time as me is 13 weeks pregnant. Very happy for her but slightly jealous too! 😩

Sarah, your hormones can be fine and you be anovulatory for a cycle. It simply is a fluke that happens to most women sometimes. Your body primes up to ovulate and then no egg gets mature enough to push through or your eggs were all too close so your body said uh uh not 3 or 4 eggs at once. When that happens there are two paths your body chooses. For some women they get basically a light period a week or so early as their body resets for the next try and the other option your body can take is just to start over and slowly build the chemicals again to try the ovulation again. Now, as you are so far along (60+ days) into your cycle it sounds as though your body is having trouble getting back to ovulation territory. I would suggestion taking cheap opks to see your peak again and if you don't get a positive in the next couple weeks then you may want to go to the doctor to bring on AF so your body can truly reset.
Once, before I started truly tracking, I had a 3 month cycle because it tried to ovulate twice before succeeding at cd 78. I blamed coming of HBC a couple months before and it has not repeated anything similar since.
It is very frustrating and annoying but it just happens sometimes.

Thank you cppeace. It is so frustrating not knowing what's going on. I am hoping at my appointment on 3rd oct she will suggest giving me something to bring on af and restart the cycle.

Do you think having the hormone test come back normal rules out PCOS? Xx

Sarah I was convinced for years I had pcos because of such irregular periods my highest ever was 57 days

But I have done lots of research over the years and had testing for it
But in order to be diagnosed with pcos you must have 2 or 3 out of these 3 things to be diagnosed by the doctors, all my bloods come back normal too, and I had private pelvic scan to check ovaries and no cysts

sarah, yes to everything Cppeace said. I had a 72 day anovulatory cycle at one point. I would ask your dr for something to bring on AF and restart things since you seem to have gotten stuck. It's so frustrating.

10 dpo today and decided to test. I got what I think is a very faint line on an Easy At Home IC. When I had a chemical in May, these never showed anything for me. I'm super scared it's not real or will be a chemical. Going to test later tonight after a hold. I want to post the photo for your opinions, but I don't know how! Lol

As for me af is defo showing tomorrow! I am emotional, terrible backache and cramps and (sorry if tmi) my cm smells metallic like it does before full force af. On to October!
