Went to my ultrasound. Confirmed due date of Sept. 12. Saw the little seahorse with 115 bpm.

My last pregnancy I was so sick my entire pregnancy & I just suffered in silence because I refused to take any medicines. But, like I’ve mentioned I haven’t been able to keep any food or water down, so she gave me some Zolfran. LIFE. SAVED. Next appointment is Feb 18 and they want to do the Panorama test to check for anomalies. They want to run a lot of tests because of my son being born Deaf with cerebral palsy. Every test is going to worry me!

Also,
Has anyone had the flu pregnant? I posted too soon last night. It seems like my son has the flu now. He has been up half the night and is really hot (only 5am so I can't take him to the dr yet). If I get the flu is it really bad or? Has anyone had the flu pregnant? I don't feel sick yet, but I am guessing if my son has it, I probably will get it since I am with him all day.

Edit: I should add my husband went to the doctor yesterday after being sick the past couple days and they confirmed it was the flu with a nose swab test.

That’s a fab pic, and yay for getting your due date confirmed! I can understand you are worried but please try to relax, the tests are there for good reason and are there to help so please try and remain calm xx

Yea and googling flu and pregnancy isn't helping. I am hoping if I go as soon as I have symptoms, it won't be too bad if they give me Tamiflu. Idk .

Congratulations- that's a lovely pic. So glad they've given you something for the sickness, and I think it's totally understandable you being worried

I had my first midwife appointment today and it lasted 90 minutes- very thorough! She was absolutely lovely though, and my OH came along too which was nice. It felt good to actually allow myself to think about things like where to give birth etc and believe that things are going to work out and that come September I'll have an actual baby, even if some days (and nights) I find that hard to believe.

I've got an early scan booked for 5th Feb (at 9+6) and my dating scan booked for when I'm exactly 12 weeks...so I'm going to be on count down until then, obviously

Ultrasound went well today! They did not change my due date, keeping me at Sept. 4th. So that makes me 7 weeks & 5 days today. Heart rate was 162. (My son’s was 172 at 8 weeks & 2 days)
My next Appt is Feb 18th. That will be the first officially OB Appt where they’ll talk to me about billing, health history, etc.

How is everyone feeling?

I had a scan at 5 weeks and we saw the gestational sac in the right place woohoo!
I got my 3+ on clearblue yesterday at 5+3

I have my booking appointment in 2 weeks (I’ll be 7+3)

I have an appointment at the fertility specialist on Monday (we got referred way back and I rung and ask if we could still attend - they said yes!) I’m hoping I might get a scan fingers crossed!

and I have a private early scan booked for 8+1, praying for a healthy baby with a heartbeat!

it all just seems so far away! Time needs to go quicker!

My first appointment is the 11th too and I'll also be 8 weeks provided all goes well. We must be due the same time

Feb 10th for mine & I will be about 9 weeks or maybe a little under.

Still trying not to get the flu from my husband and now son (tested positive yesterday). I tested negative yesterday so hope it stays that way, but sucks seeing them sick esp my son. The dr did give me tamiflu to take anyway since I am pregnant and around it. I am really nauseous on/off but pretty sure that's from pregnancy.

Totally normal, when your hcg reaches 1200 it takes longer to double!

That’s awesome Laurabecca1 and Laurabub! My est due date is Sept 21, 2020. And my ultrasound def lined up w 5 and a half but with my mc is was also at 5 and a half and there looked like there may be slightly more “stuff” to see in this one lol so maybe I’m due sept 20? We’ll confirm on the 11th.

Also WOAH, looks like Feb 11 is going to be a big update day the this group! Everybody has an ultrasound that day

Isn’t it? Everyone will be posting at the same time! Can’t wait to see lots of healthy baby scans though and we can get all these dates confirmed!

How’s everyone feeling? I’m generally fine in the day but when I get in from work the nausea really picks up and I am beyond exhausted! Plus impatience is kicking in, I just want to be talking about it publicly now and I feel like I’m starting to show??
