im from Canada land! hopefully finding out the sex tomorrow morning wish me luck ladies!!!!
Firegal, I have yet to be offered a seat!!!!!! So I say if you're getting it, take it!!!!! I wish someone would offer me a seat, I think I still just look like I've had a very big dinner rather than pregnant, so nothing will be coming my way for a while!
On the job front, I SO know what you mean, I've barely done anything in the last few months, I can't focus and don't really care as much as I used to (I was very career driven before, I didn't realise I could lost the edge so quickly!!!) but talking about a replacement is very strange and I almost find it stressful. I have these images of someone taking over and being in charge when I get back and stuff. It's crazy I know, but it's so scary for me - I've fought so hard to get to the position I'm in now that losing it would be devastating to me, even if I have the motivation of a flea at the moment.
*Tentatively pokes head around door*
... Hey ladies, sorry to intrude, but I really had to put the record straight here...
- I totally totally copied your cute idea of personalised blinkies for your team, they are the sweetest thing and we just had to have some of that cuteness in our club!! But I did try to make them look very different from yours, it's nice to keep the place bright and different and interesting, don't you think? And those new personal avatar thingies are gorgeous, Star-dust... I am nowhere near skilled enough to live up to that.
Don't worry, I won't even try to compete there!!
- I'm afraid that I, personally, don't like your group name very much.
I'm not even sure why, really: My OH thinks its a really cute and funny play on words, but somehow it just makes me cringe! BUT that is CERTAINLY nothing against you ladies at ALL!!! I guess where creativity comes into play, there are bound to be different opinions, otherwise this would be a pretty boring old world, eh?
- My personal opinion of your team name has no relevance to anyone, anywhere, really. And it certainly doesn't necessarily represent the opinions of all of the August mummies! (Or those of everyone in Devon, for that matter, I'd wager...)
- I don't have a Devonshire accent. Ok, so that one is pretty random, but I really couldn't stand the thought of you girls thinking I was some nasty Devonshire farmer or something!!! LOL I HATE the Devonshire accent! Hehehe
- I certainly am not looking for any kind of enmity here, and never have been! I'm sure you girls are all very awesome ladies, and I can see that your group is very popular. In fact, we are desperately trying to catch up to you on the thread count, but I don't think we will ever make it to be honest!!
Even though you're a month behind us, it seems you'll lead us right through Third Tri
*holds out olive branch*

Firegal - how pregnant do you need to be to justify a seat?? That would be a different pollI remember getting the train at about 35 weeks pregnant with my 1st child, it was busy, I was stood up and me and my swollen ankles were cool with it but then some guy said "Excuse me, can you breathe in a bit?"......
Firegal.... Give misswren the same abuse you did me!!!!
And sunshine nic if ur around!!!!
If Jens in bed, Im stayin in bed!!!
