septembryos baby area (09 babies)

Hi everyone! I'm new in the forum.

I'm due on September 18 and I'm glad that there are so many other women here with whom I can share experiences with. Each time I look at my scans, I have a smile on my face and can't believe this baby is growing inside of me.

Here are my latest scans from last week at 11 weeks and 4 days. It's amazing how we can clearly see the brain of the baby too!

Hey hun can you remove me from the list thanks :)

Parkep - I am so, so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you. x

La Vanguardia - welcome and what great scan pictures. The ladies here are lovely and a great support.

Babytots - thanks for changing my due date and sorry to hear you have been poorly with the nausea. I am suffering too - felt horrible for most of the day yesterday and was sick last night. Feel pretty terrible still this morning and have Monday morning blues. I thought the nausea was meant to ease off after around 12 weeks!

Hey ladies.. how are we all?
I've had my weekend of high emotion, got most of it out of my system, and think I'm just about up to being sociable again and getting some normality back (well, as much normality as I can get with some of you lot around anyway ;))! So, who's putting the kettle on??? I really need a cuppa.....

moring ladies!!!
thats me just back from the doctor. should be the last time i see him hopefully! got more accupuncture in my wrists and he tested my urine for ketones again, and i'm all clear. been feeling ok over the weekend, not brilliant but i wasnt expecting to be. i'm 13 weeks now so hopefully this is the begining of the end for the sickness.

Thanks for the welcome!

Parkep - Sorry about your situation.

mae - My nausea is also starting more now and I'm 12 weeks and 3 days. I never really had morning/afternoon sickness before but these past two days, I threw up and felt really tired. Now, I feel ok and hope it stays that way.

firegal - Here's some tea for you!

Thanks La Vanguardia!

My nausea is BAD today.... it's definitely hitting a peak...

firegal - I just read your latest post in your journal and it's very touching. I pray that all goes well with your baby.

Last night, I was actually getting worried and started to cry. I had my initial test for Down syndrome when the doc measure the neck of the baby coupled with my blood test. I'm anxiously waiting the results but can't help getting worried.

I'm 33 years old and this is my first baby so I'm not exactly very young ... though I feel really young! We got pregnant without trying and that in itself, like you, has been a blessing, especially after talking to my other friends who had to do loads of fertility treatments. So far, we breezed through the first 12 weeks without a problem and I really hope it continues that way.

I really hope you breeze through too hun :)

When do you get the results of your test? I'm sure it will all be fine xx

By the way, La Vanguardia, I just visited your blog.... I'm loving your yellow dress! And I totally relate to what you say about emotions and dreams, that's me all over :)

firegal - Thanks for visiting my blog! I think it's a good way to get thoughts out of my head ... just like your pregnancy journal. These vivid dreams during pregnancy are really out of this world!

I just called my OB/GYN to check whether he received the results already. He did have them and he confirmed that my chances for Down syndrome is very, very small ... 1 in 7000. He also asked how I was feeling in general and he said normally I shouldn't feel nausea now at this stage, but he was so funny and said that modern women are a bit different from what the text books say. As long as I don't have extreme nausea, I'm fine. He also gave me the ok to fly to Madrid next week on my holiday lol.

I was so happy to hear the news that after talking to him I cried. It was such a relief to get this worry out of my head.

Yay!!!! That's great news. I told you it would all be fine didn't I ;)

Hey ladies!!!!! how are we all?

IM 12 WEEKS TODAY!!!!!! :hapydance: :yipee:

Firegal im so glad ur back to us feeling alot more positive best way to be and everythin will be fine HUGE :hugs:

la vanguardia- welcome hunni lovely pics you have. yes it amazing isnt how clearly we can see things at this stage. just wait til the 20 week scan and you get to see all the internal organs.pleased your results came back ok!

parkp- so sorry for your loss sweetheart. thinking of you. sad to have to remove yet another lady from our list. look after yourself hunni.

firegal glad to see you back here hunni. heres a cuppa from me too! sorry the nausea is bad today! mines really bugging me now wish it would hurry up and go!

rachydaz- congrats on reaching 12 weeks thats the major milestone out of the way. the next one now is 24 weeks where allour babys will be viable if we were to go into premature labour (which i hope none of us do and we all make it to term!).

i'm having a better day sickness wise. kept my cuppa down this morning. went and did some shopping at tescos and to get a sausage sandwich from their cafe to find they cant do hot food as the hot plates that keep the food warn arent working. was well annoyed as their sarnies make me feel so much better. ended up getting some ham from the deli and having a ham sandwich when i got home and kept that down too.

ooo found something else to eat. worcester sauce crisps how yummy are they! think this baby is going to be born a crisp as i cant stop eating them first it was ready salted then beef and onion and now worcester sauce lol.

i have my first m/w app on wed cant wait felt like ages since i last saw my doc cant wait to get booked in and on the system properly. x

Yay for you Rachydaz!!! Best of luck for your scan on Thurs, and thanks for your :hugs:

Babytots - thanks :) Great to hear you're feeling a bit better today, and I hope your appointment goes really well on Weds.

I mentioned this in my journal post today but thought I'd include it on here too, seeing as clothes have been talked about.... I just have to say, maternity jeans rock!!!! I bought my first pair on Sat as my normal jeans are just too uncomfortable, and they are the best things ever. They're so comfy! I'm not sure if I'll ever want to go back to normal jeans  I've also just been online and ordered myself a pair of Topshop maternity leggings as I'm wearing normal leggings under my dress today and I've got them folded down under my bump but they're driving me mental.... I'm going to leave my purchases at that for now, but I just had to buy them, I couldn't cope any longer!
