I read that and thought mmmm cake
then I saw your pics, loved them!!!! first time I've laughed out loud all day!!!
I'd still eat it, looks delish to me
I need to go and buy some cake NOW!!!!!!
(can't stretch to making cake, just got home and made dinner, that's quite enough cooking for one night!! - even if it did only mean cooking a bit of chicken and a salad!!)

mmmmmmm cake

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).




And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world ?
Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

I have to tell you a funny story! I still can't believe it never came up!

Anyway! I asked my twins birth to 3 teacher why she kept pulling at her sweater to cover up her tummy. She told me she's embarrassed by it. I said why and she told me she's expecting again. I told her congrats and baby bumps are cool! And she proceeds to tell me she is expecting her bundle. Get this! September 6th! I was like why didn't you ever tell me. Especially with me talking about my baby a lot and that we are due so close. She said she didn't want us focusing on our pregnancies instead of the twins learning! I'm sure that wouldn't have happened. I just can't believe she kept it quiet so long! She has to be about 17 weeks along cuz I'm just over 16. Crazy!

I would ask if any of Trent's teachers are expecting, but he all ready told me his Science Teacher/ Football coach and his wife our expecting their first in June. I mentioned Ty's teacher is expecting in August and his Teacher from last year is due very soon.

2008 must have been a great year to conceive here in Janesville, WI!

Also I'm being tickled from the inside.. I'm very ticklish as it is.. and now just can't stop giggling.. it tickles so much!! DH was feeling earlier.. and we had a massive kick - I think that limpet likes the attention!

Oh and one more point.. 4 more days until Easter hols!! Horrah!!

Im on facebook too Marg. i have fits and starts with it. Some times i'll log on every other day for a week and other times i completely forget for about two!!!

Only a couple of weeks to go until my 20 week scan . I dont want to know the sex ( have a surprise after all that pushing) but my DH really wants to know. Hes a planner and needs to know for his sanity!!!! Any way.... i decided that he should have just as much of an input on this as me, so i took the executive disiscion the other day and suggested we should flip a coin - heads we do, and he gets his way, and tails we dont and we wait until the little one is born..... anyway....it was heads...... so Matts dead excited bless him!!!

I'm with you Babiiblu...I don't understand a lot of what some of the ladies say. But I SOOOO wish I knew what "fab lollies" were as EVERYONE seems to LOVE them. Is this mainly a European website that a few of us American's have somehow (and I must say luckily) stumbled onto?

As for my hubby and I, I think we're gonna go with a crib straight off as well. But I think we're going to find a second hand one or borrow one from someone that no longer uses theirs. This is going to be my last wee one (although we do hope to adopt in the future) and I'm not so sentimental about keeping the crib and stuff. We'll probably put the crib in our bedroom until 6-9 months and then put it into either our son's room or convert our guest room.

SPEAKING OF WHICH...my husband and I are signing the papers to BUY our FIRST HOUSE TOMORROW! As of tomorrow we will be first time home owners!! It's quite a feat considering we are both in the military and have moved around so much from base to base and have rarely been in a city long enough to even THINK about buying a house. I'm SOOOOO excited and CAN'T wait to finally move in! OMG OMG OMG OMG!

Ok...all done with all that gushing!

and omg, did anyone see that "the sex education show vs pornography" it was shown at 9 on channel 4 (england)
i wish we had been offered something like that when i was in school. im 20 years old and thankfully im against one night stands as i have no idea how to put a condom on at all.
i just went on the pill.
any opinions on this show?

OK, you're going to think I'm soooo dumb, having lived in the UK all my life...
I had no idea what people were taling about when they talked about fab lollies - I thought people just meant ice lollies, which everyone thought were fab at the (I do!!)
Only reading bundabunk's email just now made me realise, you mean FAB lollies!!!!!
OMG< how could i have been so dumb!!!
I LOVED them when I was little!!!!!

I feel very silly now

Anyway, sorry you feel left out bundabunk, but I think there are lots of Americans on this site too -I think there are a few ladies on this thread who are in England and addicted to their computers!! (not to name any names.... ;-) )

Badunkadunk, if it's any consolation, I didn't know what Fab lollies were either! I thought they just meant fab as in short for fabulous.... doh!!! I'm in the UK but I'm Aussie and have been here for about 8 years, so I don't always know what people are talking about here

Morning girls i don't come in for a few days and have pages to read you lot must have been busy.
I love fab lolllies but at the moment i love chocolate feasts mmmm.
I can't believe you keep getting offered a seat on the tube firegal that is unheard of.
Star dust sorry about the cake bet it tasted great though did you disguise the mess with cream?
I think we are going to get a crib as both my other kids were in their moses basket for such a short time it hardly seems worth spending the money.
