septembryos baby area (09 babies)

Hey Kathryn! Glad you & Isaac are doing well and New Year in Paris sounds fab!
x

hi,

it is bliss! blake going into his cot he is sleeping from 10pm to 5am!!!! :happydance:

we have problems with clothes though. 0-3 are getting to small and 3-6 are way to big! poor thing will be wearing babygrows day and night  (no he wont, IF i cant wear my pjs all day then neither can he. LOL!)

we were predicted 10cm of snow over night, it never happened i wouldnt say there is even 1cm. in someways i want loads of snow cos it means i can stay in the warm and not go out for school run etc but on the other hand it makes OH job very dangerous (he's a courier driver).

sorry cant remember who asked these but here's answers:

delaying injections is fine as long as it not 2/3months late. i have cancelled blakes 3rd lot for today as he was sick yesterday (think he pigged his bottle too quickly) but wasnt going to risk it being a bug etc.

babygrow/sleepsuit sizes vary depending on where you buy them, H&M do a few upto 1month, 1-2months and 3-4months then they are upto 6, upto 9 etc. most places though are 0-3, 3-6, 6-9 etc. i've not seen many that are 0-6, 6-12.

Joe's 3rd set of injections will be a week late, so at 17 weeks instead of 16 as the weather is too bad to take him out today.

Hope Blake is feeling better soon x

Happy new year, came back from our 2nd christmas in Wales yesterday, so catching up.

hi girls i'm deffo gunna start on building the 6-9 month store of cloths for my not-so-little man lol his 3-6 stuff is gettin a little tight lol...

n i don't mean to brag...but... i thought i'd trial it a few days before saying anything but for the past 3 days jack has gone to bed at 9pm after bath n bottle and has slept through till 9 30 am !!! i am amazed!

problem beeing though he doesnt sleep through the day so it's hard to find time to do things lol

It's crazy how quickly they grow out of clothes! I went through Joe's clothes yesterday and had to put so many away, some hardly even worn :(

lhamil, yay for Jakc sleeping through! Over 12 hours is amazing :happydance:

Hey Scally :hi: Have you got snow where you are?

lhamil- thats great on Jack sleeping through, would love a lay in til 9.30, bliss!

Hey Vicks, we do have a bit of snow, hoping to have lots more though. Have u got it too?
When we were travelling to Wales i skidded on some ice, i was surprisingly calm and managed to get the car back on the road and under control but it was scary! Thought i'd always panic in that situation but i didnt worry until after!
I love the snow, but not when i have to drive, and now OH has been sent home from work it can SNOW SNOW SNOW!!!

lol! I know, the snow is fun when we're all tucked up at home! I'm not planning on going anywhere til it's abit safer outside. We stocked up on formula & nappies yesterday just incase so have enough to last us til the weekend! We only have a few inches of snow, sounds like we are snowed in, but we're not! Just don't want to risk falling or Joe getting too cold.

I am planning on not going out too! We have stocked up enough i think! Yesterday when we did our weekly shop at tescos there was no bread left at all, looks like people are panic buying, so the only thing we'll run out of is bread, lol! sure we can eat something else! lol

If I'm honest I'm not too worried about Isaac getting too cold... he has a massive snow suit that keeps him nice and toasty - it's more me I'm worried about!

Although have enough to get by for the next week or so! However I'm not sure my sanity will continue!

Need some advice girls!! :hugs:

Joe is teething and we're putting teething gel on his gums after each feed which is helping, but he's started waking twice in the night again  I know we've been really lucky that he's slept through so far, but he just seems to want a cuddle or a dummy, so haven't fed him in the night yet as he goes back to sleep. Do they usually need more night feeds when they are teething, or do you think it's just waking him up??

I think Izzy is doing the same Vicks, she has started waking numerous times a night, and all she wants is her dummy or a cuddle, I havent given her more food at night but have given her more milk during the day and some rice. I'm not sure whether its down to her teething or growth spurt but it is getting better, shes been doing it for about 2 weeks and its a shock to my system!!! Some nights she woke at 12, 2, 4, 4.10, 4.30 etc etc, but a dummy would settle her. Hope it helps a bit.

Thanks Scally! How have you increased her milk during the day? Are you giving her more at each feed or more often?
I haven't fed him either, as he doesn't seem to want it, but I might do tonight and see if that helps. It is a shock to the system isn't it lol!! I feel shattered every day again, like I did when he was little!

I am giving her an extra half oz in a feed (dr brown bottles max 8 and a half ounces!!!). Even though she has huge portions, she doesnt have many feeds a day and wasnt actually having what is recommended for her weight. Also they do say that this is a time where they have a huge growth spurt where they sometimes want more, but sometimes she'll leave some of her feed, which apparently is common in a growth spurt. Lets hope its just a phase and Joe wont need his nightime feed for long!

hi guys ..i knes i'd be speaking too soon about jacks sleeping lol he woke at 1 30 am when i went to bed... then again he just had 7oz milk in one go n fell back to sleep lol

i found a way to keep myself busy... i made a nappy cake for my mums workmate....

hi ladies! Sending you and your bubbas lots of warm hugs to take away the chillies!

I see we all are trying, one way or another, to keep BnBing :) hard though! I am actually on my mobile right now while Solana is BFing. And my laptop is just a few feet away from me! She's been fussy for2 nights now and wouldkt sleep unless she was on my chest.

How do i know if she's teething? It might be the reason why she's fussy at night? She's usually in bed by 8pm til 7am and wakes up once or twice to feed, but these past 2nights she's awake almost every hour. She's been biting her lower lip more lately and biting my nippy too. solana has outgrown most of her clothes too. She's like winnie the pooh in some of her clothes, they're suppose to be the 6 to 9 months ones? Amaybe they just make them a bit smaller these days? Ikm going out again this weekend to buy her bigger clothes!
