Hi all! Boy has it been forever. No time to get in here anymore! I love being a mom. Zoe Elizabeth is 3.5 months old and 16 & 1/4 pounds. She's full of smiles, talks forever and sleeps all night. I love her so much!! So good to see how well everyone is doing Anyone back to work and struggling?

Do u think that shops arent sizing their things realistically anymore, we seem to have alot of babies in 6-9 month things at 3-4 months.

Vicks- poor Joe- it is heartbreaking when they do that. Glad he is ok now though.

Amy- Hows Blake doing now? hope he is a little better after his jabs.

Do they need to have their jabs a certain amount of time apart? or does it not matter, i am concerned i still havent heard about Izzy's jabs.

NewlywedTTC- Ahhh bless Zoe Elizabeth. I am not going back to work, which i am relieved about, I am so shattered every day!

I have bought a 6-18 month sleeping bag for Izzy now as the 0-6 are too short for her now! It is huge, and so long! I cant believe they do ones expecting them to be in them a year! She looks alot better in it though, no longer pushing with her feet against the bottom!

Morning all!! Hope all is well.. sorry to hear about the rubbish jabs.. Isaac has his third lot at the beginning of feb, so I'm hoping they go ok.. he's been fine with his others so should be ok!

We managed a whole load of baby rice yesterday! hurrah! Isaac loved it.. his legs went wild everytime the spoon went near! So with that and swimming lessons (!!) on Saturday.. my little boy is definately growning up!

I also managed to get him weighed yesterday.. my boy is finally a stone! 14lb5oz

Hi thought i should pop in, Billy is getting to big for 6-9 month clothes now he was weighed last week and he is a huge 23lb! His weight gain has slowed down loads now thank god! I am thinking about starting to wean him soon but i'm going to wait a little while as he is still a bit poorly after spending last week in hospital Hope everyones lo are doing well and i will try to keep more on top of this thread.

hi,

blake's still being sick, he cant even keep water down. so we went docs this morning and they think its the MEN.C injection he's reacting to. unless he starts fitting or gets dehydrated, its calpol all the way, and i have got to offer him milk even if he chucks it all up over me!!! the daft thing is apart from being sick and hot he is his happy little self AND laughs when hes been sick not crys. LOL!

at least theres no more until a yr old (apart from swine flu, which made my middle son ill for 3days).


the snow has finally started to go, but it has been heavy rain for 12hrs so it doesnt get much choice really. i just hope it doesnt freeze tonight with the amount of water laying on the paths and roads as it will be a nightmare. but saying that the old bloke on the bus was telling the bloke next to him that theres more snow forcast for the weekend so who knows. i have now offcally had enough of the snow and ice and want the sun.

Billy had bronchiolitis and was in hospital on oxygen for 6 days he is much better now but still has a nasty cough and wheeze. He has 2 inhalers he has to have 4 times a day until he is one but i'm so glad he is better its a small price to pay.

Amy sorry to hear Blake is sick but at least he's still a happy boy. I'm so fed up of winter already roll on the summer

Damn this weather- can finally get out now the snow has cleared and its pouring with rain!!!

woah! everyone has such big bubs...in 6-9 already mason is still in 0-3 and size 2 nappies and no where near 3-6...should i be worried?? hes only around 14lb aswell ....he was nearly 9lb at birth 2 ??...im a worry wart huh!?

DONT WORRY! all babies are different and grow at diferent speeds. i think in some ways it depends on where clothes are bought from - next seem to come big (blake can fit in 0-3 still), tesco and asda i've found are small until you get to 1yr then they are really big (my 4yr old can fit in age 18-24 asda trousers).

blake is 13lb 5oz and has had to go into 3-6 as 0-3 were too small BUT 3-6 are too big round his waist.

i do get alot of his clothes from asda and tesco, and also next too...i do notice such a variety in their sizing..its crazy lol guess im just over worrying, he's healthy and thats all that matters lol...its weird as he looks such a chuck lol with his fab chbby cheekies!!

well i just sorted out all of jacks old cloths and realised in the 0-3 size cloths there are 4 different weigts 11lb 12lb 14lb and 15lb....but all have 0-3 on the tag and i found some 'first size' that go up to 10lb and some to 7.5lb?!!

so he's now in 6-9 or 6-12 cos all the 3-6 are up to 18lb

confused yet?...i am! lol

The sizing on baby clothes is crazy!! I brought a few 6-9 month bits in the sales today for Joe, got some great PJ's from Mothercare and some other bits in larger sizes too as they were cheap!

Ooh, and I bought a bumbo & Joe's thighs aren't too big YAY!!!!!!!! His head still has a little wobble, but he seemed to like it (didn't cry)!!

Hope everyone's ok today. The snow seems to be clearing abit which is good, but then someone said we're gonna get more this weekend, NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Faun, hope Billy is feeling better. Must have been so worrying for you hun

Amy, hope Blake is ok after his injections. Atleast that's it now til they're a year old

hi,

he's still being sick and has hot/cold spells. i'm fast running out of bibs/babygrows and trousers for me! LOL! the washing machine is full and the tumble dryer is as well. at least they be ready for tomorrow.


clothes - i started off going by age, i'm now doing it by weight, hence why he has 2 or 3 0-3 outfits that still fit him, but mainly 3-6months.

well it's now go to the point that i don't wanna bother getting him loads of new cloths cos he's just growing too quick!...my friend finds out if she's havin a boy or a girl next week...i have my fingers crossed for a boy lol....and if not then fingers crossed her sister in law is havin a boy but thats another 4 weeks till she finds out
