septembryos baby area (09 babies)

Joey hasn't got any teeth yet, but I think we'll have the first one soon!! I agree with Scally, feels like they've been teething forever lol!

Joe can sit unaided for about 2 seconds and then wobbles! He's getting alot better now and can roll back-front, but only to the left side.

Joe watches I'd say about 30 minutes of TV. He (and I!) love Chuggington on cbeebies and I have it on in the background most of the day, as I hate the house being quiet!! He'll turn his head to the TV all day if I'd let him!

Mason hasnt any teeth fully through, a few i can see coming and 1 that has broken the skin but barely(boy that was a bad day lol)

re the tv mason LOVES spongebob(helps that i do too haha) and he has all the little toys on the clippy things which he wont go anywhere without...he'll sit and hold them while giggling away at the tv....sooo cute!!

im with u vicks tv is on all day with a mixture of things as its too quite without it....mason also likes his music channels :haha:

hi ladies,

i've posted this in childrens health as well but here gooes:

hi,

Blake isnt well, i can tell that much. i rang docs this morning to be told it sounds like a cold give calpol!

anyway, this is the problem:

*he has had a runny nose for 2days
*he has a barking/hacking cough when he lays down
*his temp is between 37 and 39 (varies up/down)
*every time he cries he coughs and everytime he coughs he's really sick
*he hasnt had his solid food - maybe 2 spoonfuls whereas normally clears bowl
*hasnt had as much mmilk or juice as normal (usually has 7xmilk and 1x juice a day, has had 4 complete milk and 1/2 juice)
*has had diareaha (sp) since yesterday

this doesnt sound like a cold to me. any ideas please?

hey all holiday was crap!!! everything seemed to be closed alothough the weather was good! nevermind, im going away to butlins with my dad his wife and her 5 kids so that should be fun :D

Chloe is 6 months old tomorow and weighs nearly 21lbs lol my lil chunk! she can sit for about 30secs unsupported and is halfway to being able to roll back to front. she will still only roll front to back on left side tho!

it seems Chloe has found her own way of moving over the past month...a couple of times when i have gone to get her up in the morning she has been the complete opposite way round in her cot to the way i put her in!!! so funny! even weirder when she wakes up only halfway round with a huge grin on her face...i think i have a pic somewhere. she can also get from one side of the room to the other by digging her heels into the ground and pushing, very amusing to watch!

Chloe did the cutest thing the other day...i was changing her bum and she was playing with her feet and then she just grabbed her foot and pulled it towards her mouth and stuck her tounge out to try and lick it....ewww and lol!!!

i think i may be starting proper BLW next week...she already has a few finger foods and textured food but i would like to introduce a few more things. its a bit stressful tho because she sometimes gets a little bit to big and starts gaging and throws up everywhere :( eww but i have been told to just keep presisting and she will get used to it as she likes texture anyway which is good :D
she doesnt seem to want to drink anymore than 2oz of juice and only takes 3 6oz bottles aday (she decided to drop her bedtime bottle on sunday!!) does anyone think this is enough??

anyway sorry to go on but i havent been on her in ages!!!

hope everyone is good xxxx

hi,

just been and got blake's new car seat. his feet were getting scrunched up on the main car seat in his rear facing one as he has long legs, which we thought was dangerous, so have got him a front facing one. he looks so small in it. but he seemed much happier in it.

kiddiecare have them on offer for a limited time at £64.99 instead of £119.99 (its the britax prince alex seat we got).

agggghhhhhhhh Noah just wont sleep..... i feel terrible. i thought that by 6 months my Lo would at least sleep part of the flipping night. He wakes up every two hours or so. Its starting to get me down.

Hi everyone!

:hugs: Diz for Noah not sleeping. Hope he starts to sleep abit longer at night soon. I don't have any advice I'm afraid, but wanted to send huge :hugs:

leelee, yuor pics of Chloe are so cute!!

Thanks for the recommendation Amy about car seats & I hope Blake is feeling better hun

Went to see Sister Act in London with my 2 sisters yesterday, it was great but I missed Joe so much :( Not sure how I'll cope going back to work in may.

Hope everyone's ok xx

hi,

blake still no better so going docs tomorrow to the sit & wait clinic. to the extent he has just chucked up over me whilst i was typing this. thing is its phlegm stuff he bringing up.

not sure how long kiddiecare got the car seats half price but if you can afford tog et 1 and keep it for few months until needed, i would do it as at half price you cant go wrong. especially as you have to have them these days.

Hi ladies, haven't been on here for ages - it's lovely to read about all the developments with your LOs and sorry to hear that lots of us are all having the same problems with teeth, illness and sleep deprivation!

I have some words of encouragement though - after 3 months of Ryan waking every 2 to 3 hours at night we have suddenly ended up with him either sleeping through (8pm to 6.30am) or only waking once (around 3am) for a quick feed!

No idea why this has happened but it started about 3 weeks ago just after I bought a movement sensor monitor because Ryan had started sleeping on his tummy, he quickly graduated to sleep-crawling in his cot then he just seemed to learn how to get himself back to sleep without waking us - I think he crawls around until he tires himself out and drops back off.

So I still don't fully believe that he is now an all night sleeper and I still wake at about 3am wondering why he hasn't woken up but I am very proud of my little boy! He's also now sitting up and pulling himself up from sitting to standing when he's next to a sofa/ chair - aarrrggh! Need to baby-proof my house ASAP.

Hey everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leelee- the pics of Chloe are gorgeous, she is doing so well!

Diz- Sorry to hear Noah's sleeping hasnt been good, have u tried him in his room? Could he possibly favour sleeping in a different position?

Amy- sorry to hear Blake is still poorly, poor little man. Hope u can find out whats wrong and he gets better soon.

SianMA- great about Ryan and his sleeping, Izzy is a tummy sleeper too. Sounds like u need to baby-proof- clever little man!

i can't believe it IZZY ROLLED TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! twice! she was trying to move towards her ball in front of her but ended up rolling!

Hows everyones weekends been?

Hey SianMA, great to hear things are going well hun :hugs:

Yay for Izzy rolling :) !!!!!

x

well i havent been on here for ages but i yent back to work january so im getting very little time for anything when i get home. Lucas is now eating everything we eat just mashed with his milk and weighs about 18lb. He's been rolling over for about a month now and sits on the rug surrounded by cushions lovely. Still no teeth but im sure they wont be long :) how is everyone? X

Scally _ yay for Izzy, what a clever girl!!!! Noah sends her lots of smooches for rolling! He is now in his own room (as of 3 nights ago) however he has only spent 1 whole night there as i tend to bring him in bed with me when he starts kicking off (after an hour and a ha;f of kicking off mind, so its not like i bring him to bed at the slightest murmur).

Tonight is going to be different tho...he's going to sleep great in his own bed, in his own room. I'm going to get a great nights sleep, and so is Matt......there's nothing like being optimistic!

Diz- I do hope Noah slept well for u, i really do! Does he sleep ok in the day? Does he have food when he wakes?

How is everyone this morning?

I am calmer today, Izzy had a choking incident last night and stopped breathing, very scary, but i surprisingly stayed calm whilst i did the first aid and managed to dislodge the stuck food but then panicked afterwards!!! She however was not fazed by it and wanted to get back and eat the rest! She had salmon, cucumber and potato bits, and surprisingly the bit she choked on was the potato.

Aw Scally, that must have been so scary. I hope you & Izzy are ok hun:hugs: My OH did a first aid course at work which included about baby first aid, I really want to do one too.

Diz, I hope Noah slept all night and you managed to get a nice sleep too.

Hey Vicks, hows u? and hows Joe? Did u have a good weekend?

I am looking around for baby first aid courses now, i only really know the choking bit after reading it on here, i really feel like i need to know more for my peace of mind. My friend works for sure start and she said that they do them, so going to look into it for me.
