septembryos baby area (09 babies)

Good morning!

Leelee- well done to Chloe learning to crawl and the 2nd tooth!
Oops about the highchair, doh!

Diz- hey! Hope Noah gets better soon! It'll be worth it, when u have your lovely church wedding!

Amy- Gosh Blake is so clever, well done to him!!!

We have laminate flooring too, i am always so paranoid about her banging herself on it, i think i am not so easy about her chucking herself around- i'm going to start putting foam tiles down and maybe a blanket too. We are wanting to move too, the flat is on the market, and the next place i want carpet!!!!
Izzy is trying to crawl too, she does weird wiggling, but ends up going backwards which frustrates her even more!!!

aww yay izzy!!

ive just ordered some crawling knee pads off of ebay...
crawling knee pads
hoping they will work! they do say suitable for hard/wooden floors, non slip and cousioned!! i think i am reciving one set tomorow which i am giving to my friends daugther for her 2nd birthday (still not walking or crawling properly) hoping it will help! xxx

ooooh may have a look at the crawling knee pads, otherwise its going to either hurt their knees or be a bit slippery wont it?
Hows u leelee? Hows chloe?

blake is covered in bruises from where he has fallen on the laminate trying to stand/walk. but i wont have carpets due to pets and middle sons asthma.

not too sure on those crawling things as they would have to be worn all the time.

i am knackered - my neighbour came round last night to strip 2 wies so i could fit a new plug, and ended up passing out loads of times, soi rang ambulance etc. i left my OH my 3 kids and her son and went hospital with her. i left her at hosp at 1am (we got there just after 9pm), got home for my eldest to promptly chuck up and all 4 kids were up at 6am!!! neighbour is home but we have no idea what is/was causing her to pass out. it happened about 18months ago as well.

hello,

blake ahs yet anouther bruise on his head.... he decided to let go of the settee and tried to walk and went SPLAT hed first on my floor! after 5mins crying he got up and tried it again, 2nd time he let go i was ready to catch him!

we went mums n tots again today and i was told about 2 others that are only 5mins on bus, so we may be paying them a visit over the next few weeks.

Apparently the say that babies need to fall and hurt themselves to learn- no chance! when izzy starts doing anything like that i am going to have duvets all over the floor!!! Clever Blake, he is so keen to get going!

Hows everyone and LO's?

It has been very quiet on here!

tell me about it. thing is as he's still smll he hasnt got too much weight to stop him getting up and going!!! just needs to get his balance sorted then he will be off.

i have just had to put him in his 6-9 clothes as 3-6 getting tight n short, BUT 6-9 are too big round wait in length and the sleeves are too long in l/s tops! he's 10days off 9months.

i think Chloe is going backwards in clothes...she seems to be back in 6-9 month stuff now! how odd lol

well done blake for trying to walk already...meanwhile Chloe is still not getting onto all fours, sitting herself up or even pulling herself up!! :( nevermind!

she had chicken fingers today and loved them. she ate loads which i was surprised about but really pleased! lol

the longer she stays in 1 place the easyier it is for you hun - means you dont have to have eyes in back of head! dont forget blake has 2 older brothers that spwnd every da after school trying to get him to move!

as for clothes its getting warmer, therefore she is probably sweating and loosing some weight, does she roll around? if so this could be another reason. if she is healthy and not loosing loads dont worry, but if your concerned speak to HV.

yea she doesnt stop moving...shes a real live wire! rolls like mad LOL shes not sweaty but im not worried, gona see HV next week anyway, just to check her weight as she only put 3oz last time!

we are now making the transition from bottle to sippy cup, and so far so good. i have decided to do it cold turkey as it were, but she is doing well thankfully.

hope everyone and LO's are ok xxx

good for you with sippy cup - blake wont touch any! i have the ones with rubber spouts (like teats but beaker shaped), i have an anyway up 360 degree cup, i have a £1 shop beaker, i have 1s he has to suck (hardish), i have 1s that "pour" into his mouth, the list goes on (think we have 6 or 7 different ones) and he wont drink from any of them.

which in a way i'm glad hes still got his bottle as that shows he is still a baby in some ways! LOL! his attitude and doing stuff is older than he is.

i think summer is finally here!!! it has been lovely the ppast 2 days and its meant to be hotter tomorrow and saturday. i cant wait. wont be spending weekend sunbathing or having bbqs though as we got a naming cermony on sat afternoon and a christening on sun afternoon.

i think we have like 10 different cups!! lol finaly found one she can get on better with. its a free flow TT beaker...same as the 4+ months without handles, and a bit taller! it says its 9+months but she likes it now!! lol

How many bottles do Chloe and Blake have? That brilliant about Chloe and her cup, Izzy will drink juice well from one, but i am not sure she could drink the amount of milk she has in it.

blake has 7 7oz bottles of milk and at least 2 9oz bottles of juice, PLUS he has 3 meals a day. told HV and she was shocked as there is nothing to him, but said not to worry too much unless he suddenly starts packing on the weight.

Amy- Gosh that is a lot!!! Ahhh bless Blake he loves his food!

Leelee- Are u aiming to replace one of those with the cup? is it morning or night?

Izzy now has about the same as Chloe- a 6oz bottle in the am, and then 8oz before bed. And then 3oz in her cereal. She usually has about 4oz of juice/water, but today shes drinking alot more as its warm. Do u reckon thats ok? and enough liquid?

according to the tins of baby milk - between 7-12months they should have minimum of 3 7oz bottles a day plus juice/water.

blake loves ihs food and juice but he is so active he burns it all off. he eats everything we give himm - fruit, veg, meat, cereal, toast, yoghurts, cakes, crisps, pasta, rice. he actually helped himself to my chinese the other night - rice with curry! LOL!

i replaced both her bottles with the sippy cup, she doesnt have a bottle before she goes to bed...not since she was 6 months!! she just stopped drinking it one day. she was on 3 6oz bottles a day 2 weeks ago and then suddenly dropped the other one! so now we are down to two. but i can't always garentee she will drink both. she does have 3oz milk in her cereal and about 6-8oz juice. she refuses to drink formula now tho so we switched to whole milk :( !!!

Hellooooo everyone!! Sorry I haven't been on here much, work is so busy and when I get home I just want to spend time with Joe!!

Joe has 2 x 9oz bottles of milk and then some whole milk in his cereal or porridge too. We cut this down from 4 x 9oz bottles he was having as he wasn't eating his solids, which seems to have helped and he has about 12-15oz of water a day too.

Hope everyone's ok and enjoying the sunshine :)

x

Hey Vicks! Did u have a good weekend?

How was everybody elses?

Oh my god the weather has been gorgeous! I got a bit sunburnt on sat when i was sat in a beer garden having lunch, i also went shopping with friends and tried on a couple of wedding dresses, then promptly took them off when i saw the prices! lol. Dave had a daddy day with Izzy- the first one ever, he really enjoyed it!

whats people's plans for the week?

I am going to pop into school this week, i have given in my notice but thought i'd take izzy in as people havent seen her since she was 2 months!
