septembryos baby area (09 babies)

leelee- glad its a phase they go through! Its mad i can be sat next to her playing, but thats not good enough she wants to be on me! She is getting better but still has her moments!
Amy- they are so good, Izzy has one and sips from it well, it is so much easier than normal cups as they dont have to tip it so far.

We are trying out a new mother and baby club with my neighbour this morning, and then to rhyme time! my resolution to get out more!

woohoo new babyclub, let me know how it goes!!

plans for the new house are almost complete now...the mortgage has been approved and just waiting for the exchange of contracts. if all goes well it should all be completed in the next week!!! argh madness!

leelee your so lucky your mortgage has gone through etc, i'm so jealous! ours was declined as the idiot who sorted it all FORGOT to tell lenders we in a debt management plan and therefore it was withdrawn! i want to move like last week! its driving me mad.

got probs with blakes stroller - only 3 out of the 4 sets of wheels touch the ground as we go along! last week he threw his toy (on bungee clip) and i ran over it as didnt realise and it got caught in wheel. so think i damaged it. cant take back as not got receipt anymore, and cant afford new buggy as just had to buy 4yr old new ds as he left it on table n blake dropped it on floor n broke it.

Congrats Leelee- we are hoping to move, have had people viewing the flat but no offers :(.
Amy- sorry to hear about your buggy x

We have had a great time this morning, the mother and baby group was good, run by lots of old ladies! very sweet! And then we ran from there to rhyme time at the library! Shes asleep and i am shattered, but in a very good way! Must make sure i get out and about, got so lonely last week

Hey bowbangles- U must be hating this heat and humidity! i remember it well x

YAY!!! :happydance: :happydance: :happydance: YAY!!!

you know i was saying that we wouldnt be moving any time soon - things have changed and very quickly! we have got some1 coming to view house on wed, and they have been outbid on2 houses down my street in the past month. PLUS, today i found a house to rent where we want to go (the next street from the 1 we hoped to buy) and the landlord will accept pets and kids!!! (on the condition we pay 3months rent upfront :( but if this is what we have to do, so be it.)

i'm so happy i was begining to thin i was going to be stuck here for ever. so even though i cant get a mortgage due to debt management plan at mo, i have found a house to rent! :happydance:

Yay!!!! Amy thats great news!!! Where are u hoping to move to? x

we are going to whitehaven in cumbria (yes where the shootings took places last week!). its not a case of hoping to go we are going 1 way or another and asap!

there is so much here that i dont need - petty bullying from the mothers at the school, son with glasses is being picked on and school are doing nothing, my sister is moving out of area as well, the in-laws and their silly games/trouble making etc the list goes on.

we are going out of area, for a new start. the kids love climbing the mountains when we go away etc, the air is going to be better for mine and sons asthma, we have a beach 15mins walk away, mountains 20mins drive. what moe do you want/need?

awww Amy i hope u get to move very soon then, and that someone puts a bid in on ur house!

we were declined the first mortgage because apparently it was to high risk as we already own a house!! we will be selling this one soon, but have to wait because we know who wants the house, just need to wait till he gets a bid on his house. anyway it wasnt like we were asking for the WHOLE mortgage...just half, £60,000 and house is £120,000! god so anoying.

anyway did it with barcalys and they accpeted so thats good! hoping for exchange of contracts today but might have to wait because the lady (whose house we want) had a winning bid for the house she wanted but may have lost it as we couldnt exchange at that point because we had no mortgage. we dont mind staying here a little longer if need be tho as that house is deffinatly worth waiting for!

Scally - glad u had a good time with Izzy at baby club! i go on tuesdays with my dad and adoptive / half sisters (long story!) love it as Chloe sleeps for ages afterwards!.

there is two more positions but 1 of them she is too big for and the other is for breastfeeding!

She does look so comfy in that sling!

Amy- cumbria looks beautiful, will be so nice to bring the kids up there.

Leelee- house selling/buying is a nightmare isnt it? We have ours on the market, and i dont want to look until we get an offer, otherwise i'll get excited and pin my hopes on something. And u do not look rough at all, wish i looked like that on a good day! x

Right- going to start something- what is your LO doing that makes u so proud!
- Izzy is doing really well with BLW and feeding herself a pre-loaded spoon
- she drinks beautifully from her beaker
- She is starting to be really social, loves being around other people (especially her grandad and nanny), and gives lots of smiles and funny expressions!
- She sleeps through really well- zonked out by 7pm.
- She can wave, blow kisses, blow raspberries, point and indicate what she wants.

She is gorgeous, she makes me smile, i just love watching her!

Join in, we need to celebrate what our LO's do, instead of dont do!!!! x

blake -

*pulls himself up on things so standing
*walks along sofa holding on
*makes a real mess with every meal (but does eat loads n everything we give he tries)
*throws a mega paddy when told no - throws himself to floor, arms n legs going, screams!!! funny to watch

Chloe;

*is enjoying BLW and eats anything and everything!
*eats of off a PL spoon
*drinks solely from a beaker
*sleeps through the night 6pm till 7am now!
*can now army crawl! lol
*trying to pull herself up to standing! (she managed it yesterday but fell a second later)
*can clap
*can point...thank u scally for clearing that up! lol
*says mama, baba, gaga but no dada! lol
*blows raspberries and kisses
*pick up small items with pincer grip...ie peas! lol
*can wave when she wants to!

can't think of anything else atm!

How did you get your lo's to drink from a cup and eat? My lo only wants to nurse. I do get him to eat cheerios and gerber puffs sometimes but that's it. He won't drink from a sippie cup at all. He will only play with it. His pediatrician suggested I start weaning him and see if that helps. But I think that would be more harmful as he then may not want to eat at all.

Also I took Lennox last week to his 9 month check-up and he weighed 20 pounds 9 ounces and was 30 inches long.

I noticed June 2nd that he was getting his first tooth ever. It was his top right front tooth. Since then I noticed 3 more of his top teeth coming in. No bottom teeth yet! I'll have to take a picture tomorrow because some people don't believe that he has no bottom teeth as they are usually the first to come in.
