Simply having too much fun

Wow she looks so precious Noelle - what a cutie! Hope she's having a fabulous birthday. We're not doing a party either this year so you've made me feel a bit better :) I was feeling like a bad mummy but like you said, I just don't think he'd enjoy it.

Aww, what a lovely picture Noelle! Happy Birthday to Charlie!

I also don't think we're having a party for Anabella. At best, we may have a BBQ the weekend before or after her birthday, but I think it'll be more for the adults as she won't know what is going on!

Happy birthday Charlie!!!! :cake: We're having a huge unneeded bday party  I love my mom but she wants to go way out and I sooo don't. Too late to turn back now! Emma, I know how you feel about being pissed off and feeling like you can't be pissed off bc of certain events and it's like errrrrrr

Awww, she's just gorgeous, Noelle! Happy birthday Charlie!

I'm a third person who is pissed off today, but just like I don't think it's fair that people in LTTTC call pregnant women cows for daring to complain about their aches and pains, or call mums bitches for saying it's tough being a mum, I say it's okay to complain even though worse things are going on in the world because well, worse things go on every day.

I'm pissed off because my apartment is on the market and I've had a sale contract fall over for the second time. :growlmad: I'm not worried about the apartment selling as it's a great place and I'm getting good offers, but every damn time an agreement goes to the lawyers and then falls over because the buyer was inadequately organised for finance, I have to pay more lawyers' fees.

My lawyers better be buying the champagne when we finally sign one off. (The next one, hopefully!) Ladies, complain away, I say. My heart is with you, as well as Oklahoma and Woolwich.

yeah that does annoy me with the LTTTC forum too. I get it must be hard (I don't know as we caught very quickly and I know how lucky we were) but that doesn't mean we have no right to state we are in pain etc, or post pic on FB!

That sucks about your flat, must be so frustrating! We would never get a mortgage (I think) due to a bad debt being on my file with 3 (they connected me to the wrong tariff, built up huge bill, eventually on the right tariff but still wanted me to pay for months when they cut me off, tried to frighten me by saying they would take me to court, I said bring it on, so instead they just hit me with a default notice but never told me).

Also, is it normal for your periods to be all over the place? I am waiting on my third one and if i am going by the dates of my last ones, i should have had it by now. Should I be worried??

Yeah, I think it's totally normal. I got my first one PP at 54 days ago, and my second one started today!

Ok, that's good. Was wondering if I needed to get a test! Haven't had any pregnancy symptoms (and have an iud fitted) but I didn't have any symptoms initially with Emilia either!

I'm good. It's a work day for me and I'm just letting LO nap on my lap (he has a cold and is snuffly) while I wait for the nanny to arrive. The inlaws were in town for MIL and FIL's 50th wedding anniversary party, so the weekend flew by.

I have had a lazy day and trying to get the energy to get off the sofa.

Only managed to walk to the shops and do the chickens (and dropped 2 of the eggs :growlmad:), rest of the time was spent playing with Emilia and fighting with people on a forum

at least hubby is back tomorrow.

Oh and in case anyone was worried (I know you all were!!) - AF arrived yesterday so no need to test!

We went for a walk along the beach today as the weather was so nice!

Who were you arguing with on a forum Emma? This forum or another? Glad AF turned up for you!

Larkspur - what do you do for a living? I read somewhere where you said you are a writer. What is it you write specifically? :)

Lazy day here too! Tomorrow no work so that makes this much easier knowing I have all day to be productive. Zoo trip yesterday and I'm still whooped

My septum is infected so a lot of my day has been spent popping painkillers and antibiotics and wanting to die. So painful.

Pompeyvix, I'm a freelance magazine editor and journalist.

Mostly I specialise in design and architecture (I contract-edit a design magazine in Asia) but I also write about food, fashion, the arts (including music), sustainability and conservation, and occasional funny opinion or first-person pieces. I've also put in time as a newspaper reporter, where I usually did the education or human interest rounds, and was a photojournalist.

Anyone else want to share their job?

Being a journalist seems very interesting! I wish I was creative enough to do something like that :)

Well I sit at a desk as a receptionist, dealing with people who collect unemployment (they register at our place after starting a claim), helping with resumes and helping clients find work. it's really boooring and teeedious. (ha-ha not sure if anyone's ever seen Your Highness) anyways, it's easy and pays the bills!

I just graduated from college in December to be a medical assistant, certification is in 2 weeks to make it official (Eeks!) so after that, hope to find a job in my field.. Around here jobs are extremely rare so I am very thankful for what I have.
