Hey Tanya, welcome - your LO is beautiful! How are you finding things so far?
Chrissie - sorry to hear you're still having no luck with bottles, it's definitely worth trying some different types. Thomas is still totally fussy about taking a bottle but will take at least some of the bottle most times now.
I've started Thomas on Infacol again as he has been totally impossible to wind for the last few nights - although it did nothing for him when he was younger - anyway I don't want to jinx myself but I think it might be helping a bit! He had a much better night's sleep last night and only woke up for his feeds rather than waking up all the time with wind. I would be so happy if he would consistently only take the two feeds overnight, I think I would quite happily continue with that for ages, but waking every two hours or less with him in pain due to wind is just too exhausting!
What do I do with baby during the day - well I try to get out somewhere nearly every day because I find it really hard to keep him entertained at home. I'm sure he must be a bit bored of his playmat now! The activities that we do are mum and baby yoga on Mondays, baby massage on Wednesdays (finishing in two weeks), and breast-feeding group on Fridays. We're starting swimming classes on Tuesdays at the end of February. There's also a mum and baby group that I might start going to when the baby massage finishes. At the weekends I often bring him into town and meet friends for lunch or we might go visiting. I like bringing him new places because it seems to keep him entertained and also tires him out! At home, he enjoys it when I sing to him and he likes rough and tumble play like aeroplanes. We have little 'conversations' where I imitate his noises and then wait for him to respond. I give him toys and he tries to eat them. Or I let him watch me doing bits of housework and tell him what I'm doing. I read him nursery rhymes or show him his books. He also has a bath and massage every evening which he really enjoys.
What about everyone else?
