By the way I chopped 12 inches off of my hair yesterday. I'm going to donate it so they put it in a pony tail for me (my hair was all the way my butt!) For months now I felt like my hair was sucking up all the vitamins and supplements I was taking. So hopefully now they'll just be going straight to my reproductive organs!

Wow, floridasian! That's a lot of hair! I'm so jealous. Mine takes forever to grow and I even got one of those hair halos to wear when I want long hair! It's crazy, nobody ever notices. They always just say oh your hair looks really pretty curled like that! My vitamins are helping it grow though. My nails on the other hand always grow so super fast!!! I'm constantly cutting them. That's so nice to donate it! You must feel totally naked without all of your hair!

I am so upset that I'm shaking. So remember earlier where I tried to tell the clueless nurse that she was wrong?
I called the pharmacy back this afternoon, and they said that the doctor clarified that 10mg of medroxyprogesterone( generic provera @ 10mg) was what she wanted.
This is not correct. Provera is not to be taken if you are pregnant, it is not enough for progesterone support, and it can cause birth defects!!
So I called and left another message for the nurse - since they never answer their phones. I flat out told her that this was NOT the right med, the warnings associated with it, and that I needed regular progesterone in a higher dose.
Seriously how hard is it to understand this? I'm just a regular person and I KNOW IT!

I'm upset because this is the first shot I've had at getting pregnant and my dumb obgyn office is going to screw it up for me at this rate. I know my progesterone is too low on it's own to support a pregnancy if that was to happen.

Took me forever to catch up! So much happening! I was super cranky the last couple of days so I've been hibernating. Kind of forgot what this birth control does to me. 10 days down. Ugh, so many more to go. I actually remember feeling better emotionally on the injections than I do with this stupid little pill. My tummy looks flat again but my hormones are insane. If I'm not mad, I'm crying. Over anything really. I'm having a really tough time staying positive. My boobs are killing me though. Just like when I was taking progesterone last month. Yuck!

Anyway! Congrats to the official BFPs!!! What a great start to the month! Plus, most of you are ovulating it looks like? Lol I hope you ladies stay busy the next couple days! So annoying about the progesterone order...geez! Sometimes I feel like I'm doing so much to keep track of my meds, body, emotions, & hormones the least they could do is order correctly and double check when you clarify exactly what they are planning on giving you!!!! (See why I stayed away? Mad!)

Good luck to the tww gals! I hope it goes quick for you and me as well! By that time I will be off of birth control and maybe there will be some more good luck BFPs for me! : )

I'm sorry the birth control is messing with your emotions so much though, ugh that wouldn't be fun. I prescribe plenty of wine and chocolate.

Btw I got another high on the cb advanced opk. And listen to this, dh has worked a double Monday and Tuesday and another today and Friday! I'm like no, no, no. This can't happen. You have to give a shift away or something because we can't miss O. And he knew this too! I even put the fertility friend app on his phone so he can't say he didn't know. I'm really pissed about it and told him no. He said well on we can tonight and Friday I'll come home fit a quick session in then go for my double. Ugh! Men can be so dumb sometimes lol

Men! Seriously. The one thing they have to worry about Allllllllll cycle, and for only a few days! Don't let him off the hook.

Michelle, I can't believe your hubby actually allowed you to put the FF app on his phone. Mine would DIE if I tried to do that! LOL! Hopefully he'll be able to squeeze in a quickie here and there! FX'ed for you!!

Haha I think mine would too. Although he asks me what my temp was and likes looking at my chart sometimes. But I attribute that to the science-y side of him that loves charts and graphs.

So jealous! My sister has hair that grows like a weed also. When she was like 10 her hair was past her bottom and she also donated it. It grew out super fast again and now she keeps it about mid-back length. I on the other hand can't get mine longer than mid-back no matter what I do. I once cut it above me shoulders, and it took forever to grow out - but never past that mid-back set point.


Oh I forgot to add on my rant post, negative opks this morning and afternoon so I think O is official.

I am opposite of you guys...my hair grows fairly fast & is really healthy, but Ihave to chop it off. I have tried growing it long, but I HATE it. Even now it is half an inch or so past my ear lobes & I am ready for another cut.

LOL! I don't feel naked without my long hair but I definitely feel about 10 lbs lighter! I swear my hair grows like 2 inches a month. It's insane!

So I don't think I mentioned to you guys but after this IUI is IVF (if needed). I only have enough time off to take my vacation in Sept & a cycle of IVF. That would mean no more vacation until January...which is a long time especially if I am pregnant. So I have considered postponing IVF until January. That way I can have my Sept vacation & another week in December for relaxing. I brought this up to my husband. He understands my reasons but I don't think he really likes the idea of waiting so long. So we didn't get too involved in it. He basically just said the conversation was pointless because I am going to be pregnant this month anyways.

I am feeling these weird things. Like a low dull feeling almost like very mild af cramps. Also a constant bloating full feeling. I didn't like being on my stomach last night which is how I always sleep. I have also been waking up early morning having to pee so bad it feels like I had been holding it for hours. And breast sensitive.

One long week to go before testing.

Those are good signs! I'm with your husband, this cycle is it and you won't need IVF.

It's 2dpo and I'm symptom spotting already. Ugh why does it have to be a 2 WEEK wait instead of 2 day wait?

False alarm on the OPK yesterday. The lines did not get darker last night or this morning. Phew!

Another high today....It is the 4th day in a row of a high. Hoping I O tomorrow or the next. We did get a BD session in last night. We used the conceive plus for the first time and DH didn't like it too much. Said it made him feel weird So going to put it in a few minutes before instead of right before. We are also using soft cups again this cycle. Want those in there for as long as possible lol

Good luck on the O, Michelle! And thanks for sharing the Conceive Plus experience. We use Preseed because it's easier to find (they are sold at all drugstores and Target). I guess we'll stick with it for now! DH puts it on the himself and I only use the applicator on me during the "crucial" days.

I used conceive plus externally. No issues. It is a bit more watery/loose. So my husband likes that because he thinks preseed it sticky.

AFM - I started my stims yesterday - I take 5 units of microdose Lupron twice daily, 300m of Gonal F in the mornings and 2 vials (150) of menopur at night - that's 4 shots a day!! The menopur has to be manually mixed right before taking it. I am only on my second day and already running out of spots on my stomach!! Scan tomorrow morning to see how things are progressing.
