Surprise bfp!!

So, a little over a week late for my period I tested, BFN. Well, this last week I've been miserably sick. I missed two days of work, and woke up unable to even think about food without gagging today. I went to the DR. this morning just to see about getting my cycles back on track and to get my health figured out.. The nurse had me go ahead and give them a urine sample, and when she came back BOOM. I found out nothing's wrong with me, I'm just pregnant. But what's strange is that it took so long for HCG to show up in my urine.. Anyways, YAYYYYYY.
I hope this encourages some people who are getting confusing BFNs when they feel pregnant and are late.. Because I was really confused until now. I guess some of us just take longer to get our BFP. Mine took over 2 weeks!!
