How many dpo are you and when is AF due?

I'm 13dpo, AF was due yesterday. Had a tiny amount of brown spotting yesterday AM , two drops on my underwear and a bit on the paper when I wiped, and nothing more. Lots of lotiony CM, high firm cervix and sharpish cramps. I'm normally an early implanter and with both my successful BFPs I had clear lines by 10dpo.

My doc won't do bloods until you're sure you're pregnant... he's a dumbass! But yes I will wait and see. I'm breastfeeding my 2yo as well, and although I'm obviously not exclusively feeding, he does feed a lot.

It, in theory at least, decreases your chances of pregnancy because it can stop ovulation. The same rules don't apply to those who aren't exclusively breastfeeding. And it isn't foolproof anyway. I think for most people exclusively breastfeeding, they probably won't ovulate, but it can happen. I was breastfeeding my youngest son and got pregnant within the first twelve weeks after his arrival.
As far as I'm aware, it doesn't affect a pregnancy test...

It doesn't does it... I'm hoping it's just slow rising HCG.

The reviews on the tests I've been using say they can be slow to darken. I wanted to get a Superdrug test but couldn't get there in time so I got a Waitrose one. I think there might be something very very faint.
