The BFP Annoucement Sticky - Guidelines

Hello ladies, havent been on for ages since I had accepted that my dd born in may 2011 was my last.
well today, I got a :bfp: and 2-3 on a digi :happydance::happydance:
my fifth and last baby, due on my 44th birthday!!!

I started coq10 in early september 2012 and stopped in early Jan this year as i had accepted no more babies were going to come.
Well, I had NO symptoms other than a missed period, I had stopped testing months ago!!!
I am truly shocked.
Jo xx

I am delayed in posting on here as I was so scared of jinxing things (not that the fear has totally gone away...), so here goes:

After over a year ttc, seeing an FS for tests, having my wacky cycles tracked, taking tons and tons of supplements, and doing acupuncture and Chinese herbs, I finally got my BFP in December! I was away for fieldwork and couldn't confirm things officially until about a month ago. And then last week I had my scan and sure enough there was a teeny tiny little baby! I'm still amazed.

I really feel like if it could happen to me it could happen to anyone. I swear, half my life I have felt like had the hormones of a man. Somehow it all worked!

Congrats to all the other girls on here, too, and sending positive energy to everyone! xo

Yay congratulations Phrum, healthy and happy nine months x

Phrum -Congrats to you! :yipee::yipee::yipee: Have a Happy & healthy 6 more months!

I may as well post now too. Phrum, same situation - too scared to announce until now that I am 13+1...

I'm Pregnant!

I just turned 40, DH is 43, trying for 1st, have been NTNP 12 years, TTC 2 years, have 4 mc's, compound heterozygous for MTHFR, clotting issues, borderline NK cells, low AMH/high FSH & septum removed. And, well, I'm still knocked up after 13wks so maybe, just maybe, this is FINALLY my lil rainbow??? :cry::cry::cry::happydance::happydance::happydance:

Congrats Lils! I just found out on Wednesday that I am pregnant. It still seems surreal. I am about 4 1/2 weeks, so still crazy early. I am 35, hubs is 42, this is the first for both of us, and actually my first ever BFP. I have PCOS, and we have been trying for over 2 1/2 years, and with the assistance of a Reproductive Specialist since September. HCG's came back great, so now we just sit and wait for our first ultrasound on March 5th. No real symptoms other than sore boobs, and starting tonite just feeling a little queasy....maybe? I don't know, I guess just off. So excited to share this journey with you lovely ladies.

Thanks Sassy & a very BIG CONGRATS to you too!!! Hoping & praying this is your sticky! Good hcg #'s are super promising hun!!! Roll on 3/5 scan! :thumbup:

This is my first time posting but I have been on this site for a long time, reading through everyone elses TWW's etc.

Just got my BFP this morning on cycle day 29 of a very regular 28 day cycle. 15 dpo.

I just knew this time, but I have been thinking it every month and then AF would arrive.

I've done loads and loads of pregnancy tests this month but all BFN till this morning (first wee).

It was my first round of clomid cycle days 5 - 9 and I also used a soft cup. Been trying naturally for approx 6 months.

Just in case you were wondering the symptoms Ive had were pretty much the same as before AF shows for me but they seemed much more intense.

I started with backache probably just a few days after ovulation which was crippling, been getting stomach cramps and sharp pains in the abdomen. Had really bad constipation, peeing constantly (like every hour during the night). Lots of creamy cm. And, very very tired ( can't sleep in though Ive got an 18 month old!) My breasts don't seem to hurt at all, like most ladies report. So, I really did think that AF was going to show because the symptoms are the same (apart from peeing so much!) but to my delight she didnt.

Just wanted to jot these symptoms down on here to help any ladies that might be wondering and doing the same as me every month and searching through other ladies early pregnancy symptoms!

Good luck to all you ladies out there XXX

Really pleased for you :hugs::hugs:
:happydance:

And congratulations to all the other ladies in here - it is sooo encouraging. Happy pregnancies to all.

I hope to be posting in here again one day. Sadly our new year bfp was a blighted ovum & mmc.

:hug:

BFP four week before my 40th :happydance:

Worked out I'm 4 weeks and 5 days. Absolutely thrilled but very cautious as my first pregnancy this time last year ended with a mmc at 12 weeks.

No symptoms yet other than huge and very tender boobs. I didn't have any symptoms last time round so I'm hoping to feel quesy soon (v daft I know). It still seems very unreal. Big hugs and best wishes to everyone on board here and I hope to get to know all you ladies very well over the next 9 months
