omg i can't believe you might not even get a referral, that would be so unfair just because you have a child already. I just presumed all tests were open to everyone, only ivf was out of the question. Really hope you get your referral x

Good luck! Our referral was denied because my PCOS and anovulatory cycles weren't enough to count as a medical condition to get help before 2 years (we started July 2013 too). Though now I seem to be ovulating thanks to Metformin, so hopefully we won't need it. I don't think we need IVF or even an IUI either- I just wanted a referral for an HSG and then maybe Clomid.

I am really shocked at how little the nhs does, i thought they provided help after 6mths if you are over 35 and after 1 year if you are less than 35. can only fertility specialists prescribe clomid then fezzle?

There are ways to get Clomid unofficially as I myself considered it but it means payin for them and they will come from a diff country

Oh yes i know, one of my friends on here did that and got her twins but i would be a little cautious for sure.

No, the NHS recommends seeing your GP if you're over 35 and it's been 6 months, but that's just when they run tests that aren't considered just for fertility. I had all the blood tests and a transvaginal u/s done, and my GP was able to prescribe metformin for me because my LH and testosterone were high on one of the blood tests indicating PCOS, but she can't prescribe Clomid. I could get it online, but since it seems like I'm ovulating now, I don't want to risk it. At least by applying for the referral we were able to get OH's SA done.

My trial has come to an end.

AF is actually due tomorrow but I messed up my diary for this month so I'm only sending them 28days worth of stuff instead of my 29/30 days.
I just put on the form AF started.
I took a test just incase and bfn x

Is it a relief for it to be over? I keep thinking it would be nice not to have to collect pee anymore!

My OH is getting annoyed with the pee in the fridge. Now that we've moved into the new house, we're getting a bigger fridge soon, but since other things (carpets, sofas, bike shed, curtains) have taken priority, right after I do a shop, things are a bit tight to fit in! So, I told him I'd just finish out my cycle, which should be ending any moment now. I've been sent my next box but haven't opened it yet.

Well I'm counting down this cycle in terms of pots of pee left to do. 4 left now then the trial will be over for me yey!

I had my progesterone blood test done at 7dpo and then got to get the other one done whilst i'm on my next period.

Trial over for me also, AF arrived yesterday

I also messed up so they are getting one less pot!

I'm relieved it's all over tbh, but off to drs next as we've now been TTC for 13 months with no luck

Good luck with the dr, let us know what they say, would be interesting to know if different areas do things differently.

I'm in cycle 2 now despite OH hating the pee in the fridge. Im going to start the OPKs again tomorrow. Also, since we can't get a referral until July 2015, we're going to a private clinic- I have an appointment on Sat to eager to see what they say!

I kept mine in a cool box rather than the fridge, less rick of being found!!

Haven't been on here a while.
I sent my pee off to clear blue well over a week ago now and not heard a thing from them. I have lots I need to send back!

We're taking a break from ttc now.

So hard not to think about. But I'm getting a coil fitted soon.
Not intending to tell them were ttc again in 7 months as they don't need to know, otherwise they will make me go on the pill haha!

I'm sad I haven't managed to fall but hopefully it'll be better luck when I'm a married woman!

Sorry to hear no luck either chez, don't think this clearblue trial has been successful for any of us. Think the only bfp's have come before people have started it...strange and very frustrating.

I did get 30 ovulation tests in the post from them today though! The good ones like we've been using!
I'm having a coil fitted in 3 weeks. Then out in 7 months. So they will come in really handy when I'm trying to get my cycles back to normal!

Ooh how exciting!

I'll give it a few weeks then just bin the extra stuff I'm guessing? Or Maybe just post back the empty pots?
