I hope Maia's sleeping is getting sorted Starlight. What's the latest?
I can't believe you Googled 'serious complications'! You must have wanted nightmares!
Chelli it's your V day! Congratulations on reaching 26 weeks (and eggplant status!)
I don't envy your SIL Chelli, facing induction. I always had a fear of being induced because they seem to result in long labours a lot of the time... I hope this isn't the case for your SIL (or that she avoids it all together by going naturally before Friday!).
I didn't ask my midwife about Dex's mouth Chelli, my friend from next door had come round and was there when my midwife came... it just didn't feel like the right time. Plus, I got another look at it. I obviously don't know what a very small cleft would look like, but this definitely looks more like a lump on the palate (like a small whitish bump, like a very small blister) rather than a hole or break. I might still get the health visitor to take a look, just for reassurance - she's coming on Friday.
We got some great news yesterday - the police rang (and Morrisons emailed) to say the lorry and the driver had been found. Even better, they have admitted liability

We've therefore been able to start the ball rolling on getting our car repaired, they collected it yesterday. Our insurance has said we can have a courtesy car as well, we just need to sign some paperwork online. It's all such a relief!
Fin barely mentioned the lorry incident today. We talked about it a lot yesterday as well, since I had several phone calls about it, and then he saw the recovery vehicle outside when they came to collect our car. It looks like its fading from his memory.
