Things I cannot say out loud....

DH-

I'm super excited to go out to dinner with you tonight, but don't you think it'd be nice for you to take me out sometime without me having to sneakily guilt trip you into it?

I mean, c'mon! We've been together, whether dating or married - altogether, for just under 2 years and we've gone on 4 dates...wtf??

We're going on our first date in 3 months tonight! Have fun!!! So excited!

ARGHHH... inlaws.
Why was my son sleeping on his tummy when I got home?!?!

Also, one of you bumped the stove and the whole kitchen smelled of gas.. real safe! How could you guys not smell it??!?!?!

The tummy thing would piss me off.

I'm not 100% sure if they put him down on his tummy or if he rolled that way. He's not good at rolling back but they say once they are rolling the chances of it being dangerous go down drastically.
It does piss me off but I'm trying not to jump to conclusions.

And MIL broke our sink stopper... I just wish I didn't come home to a disaster/chaos every time they watch him :(

How do you even break a sink stopper?! :haha:

well, its a stupid kind.. instead of being a metal lever that moves the stopper up and down there is a cable thingie that hooks it up... and she put a ton of soaking wet stuff in the sink then tried to open it.. and the strain was too much and the cable popped off and we can't seem to get it back on.
(she had 3 cloth diapers and a onesie.. BOY can those cloth diapers hold their liquid!!! lol!)

Does anyone remember the days when the housephone was just 'the phone' ? :p

lol and having to sit on the stairs because the cord wouldnt reach into a more comfy seat and your whole family being able to hear your conversation lol!

I'm not old enough to remember that lol :p I did have to do that at my flat cos I refused to keep buying cordless phones that got smashed. I do remember sitting on the stairs after being told I wasn't allowed upstairs with the phone. r the back door step :haha:

lol! im only 21 so it must of been that my mum was too tight to buy a cordless phone! haha! tho i did used to run up the phone bill at a really young age lol i remember my mum threatening me to writing me a bill for using the phone because i used it so much and i just said go on then i wont be able to pay, im only 11 and cant get a job lol! and that was after about 2 years of running up the bill lol!!
im forever losing our phone, its pretty robust tho so dont think id be able to smash it even if i tried lol! haha sitting on the back door step! how fab! who cares if you get piles from sitting iin the cold, at least you got your privacy lol! xxx

I'm 20 & can't ever remember having a corded phone til I left home. I used to do that. I'd get in so much trouble for the phone bill. My mom must have changed phone packages hundreds of times to stop me running up a bill.

Well, FOB used to smash phones up when he didn't like the convo he was having. So we went through a fair few of them. Then I bought a 4 quid corded phone & it just kept living, no matter how much he threw it it was always fine (:

Hell yeah! I'd rather freeze than have no privacy :p xx

lol! i love it when you buy something cheap to tide you over and it just doesnt die on you lol! we bought a cheap red (vile) phone it was a pound in poundland!! haha!! when we first moved in until we settled on a phone and everytime i used it i expected it to just die on me! it never did! we still have it in the messy cupboard just incase lol!

Me too. It makes you wonder why we spend so much on expensive stuff, when the cheap stuff is just so damn hardy!

Must be the night for going out! DH and I are out to dinner tonight too. I don't know how much fun it will be as little man decided nighttime wasn't for sleeping last night, but crying :( We better see a tooth soon!!!

Dear OH: As much as I really appreciate you getting up with Maria again this morning (though you were up anyway watching the F1 qualifyers) and giving her breakfast can you please clean her bib/tray/highchair afterwards!! Weetabix sticks on like glue once its dried and its not fun for me to try and clean it when she's hungry for her lunch and I'm ill and don't wanna do any cleaning

To myself: Don't be ill urgh

To myself: Please tastebuds will you make up your mind, and also kindly stop making everything taste metallic, it's disgusting :( I liked pineapple soda last night and it made me want to heave today... I don't know which way is up :haha:

To my Dad- I love you, I really do, but I wish you would make a bit more effort to see Ryan. I know you love him and it's great when I see you together but it doesn't happen often enough. I know that you're not good at keeping in touch, I accept that and that's why it's always me that tries to arrange things, you need to meet me halfway though. You've gone to Saudi with work today for 8 weeks and you still couldn't make time to see us

To my Mum- stop buying rubbish for Ryan! I know you mean well and want to spoil him, and I don't want to appear ungrateful but we live in a tiny flat and have no space. You don't have to buy him something everytime you go anywhere and if you just bought him 1 or 2 things instead of lots of cheap stuff then it might last a bit longer :dohh:

I keep a corded phone around for power outages... especially when they send out those emergency calls warning you of evacuations etc.

oooo thats really clever!! i should put the phone in my big box of blackout stuff (a cardboard box with candles, lighter, matches, paper, pens, torch etc) im always trying to ring up the electric company to see how long the power will be out for and once iv found my mobile found the battery dead! iv never even thought about using the cord phone lol! xxxx

To my husband: I dint know why you don't seem to love our baby girl, she is perfect to me, and our toddler doesn't understand why you are so distant either, I just wish you would sort out whatever is going on with you.

To MIL and FIL - so glad you made it down for another visit...where you invited yourself...but can you please let me get LO up in the morning without BOTH standing right next to me...in front of her crib? Her nursery is small enough and I think I can handle picking her up. When does your flight leave? Not soon enough. And DH - you better find something to do with your parents to kill the time today. I can't imagine anything worse than having to sit around the house for hours on end while your MIL watches my every move with LO.

Xavier,

Hi, its mommy again. You where up last night for 6 hours. I just got into work because I woke up late. I cannot lose my job. Can you please go back to STTN? It was so much easier on me.
Love you snuggly baby.

Ohhh! Congratulations! :) happy and healthy 9 months. X

Body, I don't like you, you don't like me, but frankly, we're all each other has at the moment. I respect you for.growing my daughter, and making copious amounts of milk. But I want you to shape up. I shall cut back on the crap I'm eating, if you stop being so sore. I'm in agony, my joints hurt, my section overhang is still sore and I'm panicking that I'm actually dying of an infection or something.

MIL it might be a bit weird that someone breastfeeds a 12 year old and the mum might have issues but it is NOT incest FFS!

To my dad

I wish you could see marella, she's so lovely. I sometimes thinks she looks a bit like you (although i dont know if im seeing what i so desperatly want to see)

Mum found having her first grandchild really hard without you to enjoy it with her... You would be so proud of her though- she is so very strong for all of us.

I miss you everyday and I will make sure marella knows all about her grandad- the painting you did is hanging in her nursery

Xxxxx
