@Luci Can I rant the same thing about my in-laws to be. They seem to think it is fine because there is "good ventilation" in their house. Yeah, umm, ok - NOT! I know it is a cultural difference, but adults where I live in America just do no smoke or drink around children.

OH - Please stop telling me it is ok how much Danish people smoke and drink. It is not freaking ok. We will not be visiting your parents or sister if they are smoking/drinking. End of discussion.

I also have a problem with road bikers. I get that they have to look all fancy in their spandex and ride skinny little bikes that can't even go over a stick in the road - but do they have to be so irritating and impractical? I ride my bicycle all the time in regular clothes and make sure to pull as far over as I can, yeah know because it won't pop my dainty tires.

And I finally plucked up the courage to tell you that I'm worried about LO staying at your parents whilst they're smoking and you say "I've told them not to smoke around her" as if that makes it all ok! They constantly stink!! Its bad enough that they don't stop their cats climbing all over the babies stuff so she gets covered in fur.
Telling me "I don't need this right now" is all well and good, I know you're not feeling well, but I'm the one who spends all day every day with Evie. If I'm not feeling well, I still have a baby to look after, I can't spend all day in bed! And it's ridiculous that you expect me to run around after you, making soup etc as well as look after our baby!!

Lettuce, I know exactly how you feel, I put my cats up online, but no takers. I keep telling myself I'm gonna call cats protection & get them to take them, but I keep chickening out. Honestly, I feel like my heart is breaking in 2 every time I consider calling. I know they will take a part of me with them & I will never forgive myself.

Anyway, rainbow, that's so crap! I'm gutted for you.

Yeah broken, it's horrific, but I've done my sobbing, I was able to laugh and joke with the girl. She smokes, but not inside the house. She's only 21 but has a flat and a good job and she's owned dogs, but not a cat. But she went to the same school as me and oh. (years later of course) and she's from my hometown. I've said if she doesn't get on with him to let me know and I'll deal with rehoming him again.
Just need a home for the other one. otherwise he goes to the cat home on Wednesday.

Oh lettuce, it's horrible. I seriously think I'm going to have to call cats protection & get them to take them, particularly now Josh has started chasing them round.

It would be a bit easier if my mum didn't keep guilting me into keeping my oldest (she's 10. I've had her since she was 5 weeks old) by telling me she doesn't think the cat will settle somewhere else

But I certainly won't miss the responsibility.

ETA: I'm the 6000 post. We are certainly a moany bunch
