OH- you know I'm pissed off about you inviting your family out to see us when we're in Italy. It was supposed to be time for the two of us, to spend alone with our daughter.
After today I'm even more pissed off!! Youve been acting very shifty the past few days, and now I've read your texts to and from your mum, I know why!!
I'm sick of them using us! This year, 2 days after my dad died, on our last Valentine's day without a baby, you agreed to "baby sit" your 15 year old sister. And now, we'll be in Italy, but instead of us doing something lovely, you've agreed, yet again to look after your sister!!!
So pissed off, words can't even describe it!

MIL and FIL- if I had my way, you wouldn't be coming to see us in Italy. So don't push your luck! You can't be bothered to come visit your only grandchild when she is 2 hours drive away, yet you'll fly to another country to see her! How convenient that it means you'll also get a holiday.

MIL- I'm sick of you acting like a smitten schoolgirl! Yes, FIL is lovely, but he completely co trolls you! You earn twice as much as he does, so who does he think he is telling you what you can and can't spend money on?!

FIL- you are a tight, stingy *******. Yes, Evie may not understand it's Xmas, but that doesn't mean she won't in a few years want to see pictures, and be curious about what gifts she received for her first Xmas. You'll come across in a great light when I have to tell her "grandad said there was no point buying you anything, because you won't remember!" !!
Just like you'll come off in a great light when she finds out that in 6 months, you have been to see her once! Don't think that once she's old enough to notice, that you can just waltz in and act like the world's greatest grandad. Doesn't work that way I'm afraid!!

He just can't see what he's doing to our family whenever he picks his ex & SS over me and Boo. I have stood by him through everything, never once have i thought "whats in it for me" i did it cause i love him. But yet again he proves how much he thinks of me and Boo. He makes me feel worthless, but no more. I've had enough and i refuse to let my daughter be treated like 2nd best. I hope he realises how much he's lost when we leave.

There's an MRI at my work so I popped along yesterday to see what its like and they let me try it. I freaked out completely. Currently waiting at the docs to get valium, full blood count and referred to pain clinic. Great. Hopefully I can manage the MRI with drugs. So so scared, I didn't even think I was that claustrophobic. I'm a radiographer too (albeit therapeutic) so I'm mortified.

Talked to my husband and we decided it's time to pull back on how much we see this aunt (HIS aunt) again. We've realized that the more she sees us, the more awful she is - whereas if we see her once a month or sometimes less, she's on very good behavior when we do see her.

Since we're coming up to Christmas (aka, we'll have to see her at family stuff) I think this is a good plan. So, no lunch with her this week - probably not next week either. We'll see what happens on Sunday when we visit his parents (she lives right next door in the same building).

Lots of things i could mention (poorly clingy baby, the fact that dh is making me go out tomorrow and leave said poorly clingy baby with his aunties, mil ringing every two mins to check up on him and invariably waking him up) but I won't.

The thing that's burning a hole in my mind that I really need to say out loud to someone before I blurt it out at te worst possible moment is "sil, your new glasses make you look exactly like Jarvis cocker and I can't believe no one mentioned it before you bought them!!!!"
Judging by the fact that she had the last pair for ten years and just changed the lenses when the needed it I suspect I'll be sittin on that one for a while.
Similar to before sil's lost weight (almost 20st between them!) other sil looked exactly like johnny Vegas! How can you live with someone and look at them everyday and always have you look like ...... Stuck in the back of your head lol?
I think I'll just go lay down in the padded room in my nice jacket with the long sleeves now.

Yes we're fine. i really thought that was it though, but after some home truths and quite a bit of yelling we've finally got it all sorted out. His ex though had better keep the hell away from me. Her lies are getting worse as is her twisted ideas of how to bring up kids.
