lol, my mil yesterday said ' oh we'll see you nxt sunday...wtf no not again as your son would like to chill at the weekends as he's to go and do another wks work on monday... you fekkng come here instead.....in the 7 yrs we've been in this house she'sa been here twice! she plays the decrepid old lady/cant walk far card and she's only 65 and very capable!

My dad's nickname when he does Civil War reenacting is Mongo after a character in the movie Blazing Saddles. It's so sweet to me that he gave Alex that nickname and I wish we could be there so my dad could spend more time with Alex. Roll on this June so we can visit and he can meet his grandson!!!!!

To Dad - for the love of god, stop panicking if I don't answer a text within 2 minutes. I might be feeding Pud, the phone might be on charge or on silent, I might be on the bloody toilet. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG!! Sending me an "Ultimatum" that you will get in the car and drive 70 miles to check if I don't answer is unhelpful. Get some help for your anxiety. And while we're on the subject, I can't bloody answer every 5 minutes on Skype either!!!

To SIL - so you're p****d that we haven't rung you to tell you how Pud is since 3 days after her op? Here's a thought - get off your fat, useless lazy ass, and ring us to see how she is if you're that fecking bothered!

To Pud - we're going back onto demand feeding because the "professionals" idea to force feed you because you won't take more than 5oz doesn't work and is too upsetting for both of us. Please be a good girl, and don't lose any weight for mummy xxxx

To DH - thank you for taking Pud to the shops yesterday so I could have an hour in the bath. Thank you for offering to feed her, for changing her nappy, for helping me change her wound dressing and for playing with her yesterday. I just wish it hadn't taken me breaking down on you for you to see that I needed more help, despite the fact I'd been physically telling you for days.

MIL- please don't hand my 2 week old around your entire family as if she is yours when she is crying for Mummy. No it is not your job to decide who gets to hold her including me. That is my job. Also a little consideration on the fact we only had her home for 1 day when we had to attend your family baby meeting despite being in hospital for the past 2 weeks would be appreciated. Poking her to make her cry so you can hear it more does not make me happy. At all.

Mum- I love you but insisting I have changed and speak to you badly when you make comments about how everyone goes through having their child in the SCBU and is unable to hold them, plus judging me for bottle feeding on the advice of doctors for medical reasons does not make me happy. Neither does continual pointing out of the fact I will never get those precious first 2 weeks back that we lost whilst she was ill. Do you think I don't know that? All that does is make me feel sadder about it. Please be positive and allow me to deal with what happened without pestering me about not sharing my every thought with you when you don't listen.

Dad- rolling your eyes at me when I say I can choose when to do things myself just makes me cross at you. Yes I'm tired and hormonal. That is normal. I'm sorry you've never been around a woman after birth before but please back off.

DD- please darling I love you but mummy does need to sleep and can't hold you all day AND all night. Even if I want to.

To DH - well done. My good opinion of you for trying more to help more has lasted half a day. The reason Pud has to go to nursery near my work instead of the one you wanted half the town away, is because you couldn't be bothered to carry out your promise to save for a car for you when yours died. You have saved less than £100 in 5 months - what the feck are you going to buy with that? Half a wheel? As I therefore have to both drop off and collect Pud from nursery thanks to your selfishness, it needs to be one I CAN GET TO! How do you expect me to drive 20 miles in the opposite direction to work, drop Pud off at 8am, drive 20 miles back the otherway and get into work for 8.30 when I have to park 5 miles off site anyway? You are a selfish, stubborn pratt and it is about time you realised the choices you make impact on me and Pud. Oh, and you will be getting the bus into work again when I go back, because I WILL be having MY car back. And no, I won't be picking you up every night - you're too lazy to sort yourself a car, you deal with it.

TY girls, little Trouble as she is aptly named is at the vets on Morphine atm, Im waiting on her x-rays coming back to see how bad the break is, keep your fingers crossed for her!

My poor LO is bunged up with the cold and burning up, my brother was stabbed yesterday after the Old Firm game and I couldnt go to hospital to see him as OH was out working and LO is ill and poor little Trouble broke her leg ALL IN ONE DAY.
