My DH (for today read Dick Head not dear husband) sneaked off to bed at 7:30 last night, and left me with Jen. When I went through at 9 to ask him to hold her while I went o the toilet, he then gave her back to me and went back to sleep! I'm totally raging. I don't mind that he's tired, I do mind that he was sneaky about it.

I told her never to do it again or she won't be having him on her own again I was livid how dare she! I am waiting for 6 months before I wean him and giving him chocolate really made me mad! It gave him a bad tummy and he was really grizzly for days, I decide what he eats and chocolate isn't going to in his diet until he is a lot older, what gave her the right?! x

MIL - it doesn't matter if guidelines say I can start giving Sophie bottles of expressed milk at two months she will not be coming to stay with you and FIL on her own until much nearer to when I'm going back to work. I love your son but because he has sat on his arse for the last two years since being made redundant and is only now starting up his much-talked-about-but-never-acted-upon about business I have to go back to work full time. A break would be nice sometimes but I actually don't want to miss a minute with my daughter over the next 5 months.

FIL - When Sophie comes to yours in the future she will not be "filled with ice cream and chocolate". I have nothing against treats but don't presume I'll be alright with her having access to you open sweet cupboard full of crap like your other grandkids. Also, unlike your other six grandkids Sophie has two parents on the scene and that mean two sets of grandparents. You're not going to be her father figure and you're going to have to share her. Deal with it. There's no guarantee you'll be her favourite and it pisses me off that you presume you will be. You won't be looking after her half as much as you think you will be.
