I got fresh pineapple chunks and peppermint-bark ice cream, in keeping with TM's unofficial "fruit and ice cream" gift theme for Valentine's Day.
He got most of the day off from work, so I think we'll be doing a nice lunch out.

TM - I hope you are not annoyed that I am purposely NOT getting worried about your MRI tonight. I love you and I want you to be healthy but it's not good for me or Miss Boo if I get all stressed out.

I got nothing for valentines day, I was quietly hoping he'd surprise me but nope, not even a card!
He went out and bought £150 worth of toys for Flynn tho, including the smart trike I'd picked out for his birthday :/
I didnt even get my scarf! I have to make do with a £3.50 pashmina from asda I guess that means he doesn't feel particularly guilty about last night, well to Flynn not me.

Another update...OH just got home, he got a call from work as soon as he walked in the door...Had to go back into work because some idiot drove their fucking car INTO the building (I can be mad because no one got hurt thankfully)...It will be on the news shortly. Guess dinner plans are shot, because he had to spend all evening picking up glass...Dinner is tomorrow night instead..

Apartment, why are you arranged in such a weird way and WHY IS THERE ONLY ONE CLOSET.
A wall of windows is nice, yes, but I'm trying to re-arrange furniture and it's difficult.
The bedroom is crowded with the crib, change table, queen-size bed, chest of drawers, and TM's desk and chair.
The main room has the couch, the bookshelf, the table and three chairs, the coffee table, the rocking chair, and the kitchen stuff. And it feels like there's STILL a bunch of empty space!! I don't get it. Blah.

Teething can just feck right off!
I've been up most of the night with a screaming baby and nothing I could do, nothing was helping at all, he finally dropped off at one point on our bed and just as my head hit the pillow he started rolling over and nearly went of the edge, I grabbed him so he wouldn't fall and woke him up, then he cried for the rest p the night, he's finally settled now watching Thomas with his daddy.

Yeah bad fight, nearly split up, think we need some kind of couples counselling

On the plus side, I finally said outloud to FIL what I think of religion and its homophobia. He has some whacked ideas - he thinks gays need regular operations to fix their arseholes
