to circumcise or not?

Lol... I've heard that the skin retracts when erect.. BUT I've also heard many guys have an excess of skin (more than the average guy).
BECAUSE circumcision is more popular here, I DO wonder if the condoms are sized/shaped differently?

All I really know is what was reported to me by guys, and by female friends who had experience with both (one female friend commented that with at least one of her uncut partners, it DEFINITELY caused problems with the condom fitting properly... and well, she had comparitive experience so I have to say she probably knew what she was talking about better than I do!)
I was just reporting what I've heard. And yes, it could be the guys just using it as an excuse!

Having been with a few of both uncircumcised and circumcised guys (I'm really not a slut... honest....) I have to say that being circumcised had no impact on condoms fitting. When a circumcized penis is erect it looks just like an uncircumcised one and I've never witnessed any extra skin issues... I have however noticed that sometimes much larger then average penises can pose issues with condoms fitting well....

And in terms of fallatio (LOL fallatio :haha:) I never noticed a difference either in terms of uncircumcised vs circumcised penises.... BUT I have discovered that vegatarian cum is MUCH more tolerable then meat eaters cum

 Can never say I've had the "pleasure" of trying the two!:rofl::rofl:
Matter of fact I've never been with anyone who wasnt cut either...I have no idea what one looks like aside from google...but even at that I have no idea what it would look like on an infant or child...because literally, everyone I know, even people with baby boys...they ALL have cut penises! peni! however the hell penis is plural! :haha:

Kandykinz...naughty. Not a chance my man would give up meat...

Will you ladies amuse yourselves for 5 mins and just google:

WIKI CIRCUMCISION

or click this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circumcision

There is a picture about half way down of a REAL penis (uncut) when erect..... AND a picture of a REAL penis (cut) when erect....
Shows both when flacid too!

This is the second time I've posted this today! :)

Kandy, you are 100% right. My husband wasn't vegetarian until we had been together for over a year. It tasted so much better, I finally stopped wanting to puke at the thought of it. Once he went veg, he got a LOT more blowjobs! (I could also tell when he cheated in the beginning and snuck some meat while he was at work) My ex before him was a huge meat eater and has the most disgusting semen I've ever tasted. You are what you eat!

Also, my husband has the biggest penis I've ever seen, and we have never been able to find condoms that would even go over the head, even after researching for a week and ordering the widest girth online! But since we've been TTC for most of our relationship, and I was on BC before that, it didn't matter that much to us, we just wanted to see if they would help with the hairy sides causing friction issue.

lisaf - I never knew that either! But wouldn't it make sense that the OB would bring it up BEFORE the birth, rather than waiting till you see a pediatrician days later? If you're going to breastfeed, you should start from birth, so someone should ask you about it before the baby is born. Maybe that's why so many women in my area don't even consider breastfeeding because by the time anyone talks to them about it, they feel it is too late. Plus, if you don't breastfeed right away, the baby doesn't get the colostrum, which is very important for the baby to have! Sorry for my off-topic rant. It just makes me so mad!

lol.. I've seen pictures.. as we all know from online shopping.. sometimes its too hard to judge the merchandise unless you can handle it yourself :haha:

My OH has a large penis and he can't use normal Durex (Well he can but it castrates him!).. so when we weren't trying for a baby I used to have to buy them in, in bulk from the 'British Condoms' website - they do a great range for larger men - Trojan XL are what I buy for my man ;)

Technically you are supposed to meet & choose the pediatrician before the birth... BUT I totally agree... by the time most women meet the pediatrician, they have their minds set one way or the other. Getting a bad start to BFing can doom the whole process. Women have lower success rates for BFing when they don't have good support systems and it sounds like your area does not offer much in the way of support so even those who try it may fail then just confirm the thought that its not a 'good idea' to others :dohh:
Even my area has great support BUT my friend got a horrible start due to the hospital specialist not having enough time to pay attention to her and she had some really bad problems in the beginning with the baby losing weight etc... she still can't get her supply up 3 months later and is ready to give up :(

ANYWAY... back to your regularly scheduled program!! :) :haha:

miss_bb, I have looked at it, sorry for not mentioning. TBH, I think the uncut one looks much more attractive both flaccid and erect in that example! Also, OWWWWW at the pics of the plastibell circ and the lidocaine injections!

LOL so true.... and the contents of your OH's package may not appear exactly as shown.......

lisaf - Around here, they just tell you to go see one after the birth, they don't give any advice on choosing one before the birth. I am going to see one before the birth, but only because I've educated myself more on things like this. If I hadn't, I'd just do what everyone else here does... a whole bunch of nothing, basically!

And I agree that it's hard to judge without handling the merchandise :haha:

Popping in from first trimester...if we end up with a boy we're not going to circumcise him. My fiance is not circumcised, and I honestly don't see the problem people have with it. It doesn't make him less attractive, or the sex any different (which I have heard people say...totally wrong) I have to agree, if he wants to do it later on in life, let him make that choice.

....... midwives discuss breastfeeding with their clients prenatally.... and as they are actually trained in breastfeeding support they actually assist with breastfeeding following the birth.... and they come to your home several times during the first week postpartum (and longer if necessary) to help with breastfeeding.... and they remain on call 24/7 for 6 weeks postpartum if you have any breastfeeding problems.........

Ok done my midwife rant.... so now we can get back to our peni discussion

Looks painful doesn't it that plastibell *shudders*

I love the comment to tell anyone who thinks they have a say in whether you circumsize or not "Its not your penis, is it?" I think that is the BEST answer to give someone who dares to question your decision making! Regardless of what decision you make.

There are lots of parents who make choices FOR their kids because kids cannot make these choices for themselves (even once they speak their choices may not be safe or rational). Thats why I don't find it 100% truthful to say its their body, their choice... just a minor point though because for the most part, I'm against cutting!

As for religion... I know baptism isn't a permanently physical change to a body... BUT, I forsee many arguements with my mom on not getting our child baptized. Her FIRM belief is that a child will end up in limbo or hell or whatever unless we baptize them. I can see some Jewish families having similar FIRM beliefs about circumcision!

(PS.. Ember - I brought up breastfeeding with my doctor for specific concerns I have about a medication I'm on... and was surprised to find out its actually something you mostly discuss with the pediatrician!! Kind of makes sense that baby doctors are the experts on baby nutrition etc... but was not what I expected at ALL!!! I haven't had formula shoved down my throat... actually got my first formula freebie at the ultrasound office yesterda :haha:)

I didnt know that either until when I took Haley to her well baby check up at 4 days old that he was my go to guy about my BFing issues lol

Even better though is to contact your local La Leche League leaders or a lactation consultant. They will know far more about breastfeeding than a doctor ever could.

do babies get scabs on their penises after circumcisions?

have you tried trojan magnums? its the only condom that DH can use but since he's lost weight (it is true that you gain length when you lose lots of weight...he's lost about 160 lbs now) even they are getting small now
