Trying to conceive #1 Buddies!

Well, I can't believe I'm saying this, but 16DPO today. That's a first. I don't know if this morning's temp was accurate because I could hardly get the thermometer in there (sorry, TMI) after the colposcopy was done yesterday.

They took two biopsies, and it'll be 4-6 weeks until we hear the results. No AF, not at all. Took a pregnancy test at the doctor's office but I don't think it was all that reliable, as I had gone to the bathroom an hour prior. I'm so sore right now from it that it hurts to sit. I keep running to the bathroom to check to see if either AF or the stuff they put on my cervix to stop the bleeding from the biopsies has come out, but nothing.

I figure I won't test again until Monday, that would be a week since she was due and I would have a definite answer by then. I'm just so confused about this cycle. I usually have a 12 day LP. It's never deviated, and not by 4 days.

:hugs: Keeping my fingers crossed for you Abe! Maybe mother nature show those docs whats what

AFM- CM is definitely getting thinner and clearer and cervix is definitely open. I'm getting really excited about BDing tonight. I know I haven't gotten a positive opk yet but Im going to trust my body over those tests. Look out DH!!:spermy::muaha::haha:

Hey ladies, random question: do any of you experience sweaty palms as a pms symptom or shortly after O window?

My hands mostly and my feet too have been extremely sweaty the last couple days and that is really unusual for me since they are never sweaty or clammy... so I was just curious if anyone else has this happen out of the blue ?????

Im not going to say that I haven't but if I have it never stood out to me as a symptom of anything. :/ sorry

We lost the baby. Gremlin stopped growing at 6.5 weeks. I'm not sure if it will pass naturally or not. Still not a lick of spotting or cramping. I'm going to just take this time to grieve with DH and heal, but I'll be back when we're ready to ttc again. All the best to everyone here <3

I'm so sorry les :nope: Take all the time you need. Massive hugs and prayers your way. I'm here if you ever need someone to talk to. :(

New here. Ttc #1 for 8months now. Currently at CD36 of a 28-32 day cycle. Not sure when i ovulated as i have not been tracking lately. Symptoms so far hace been creamy CM, sore/tight tummy(feels like i have been doing situps), constipation, hot flashes, dizziness, mild nausea, and cramping(normally have severe cramps that cause me to double over right as af starts but non before). Nervious about testing. Those bfns are such let downs each month.

I'm so sorry to hear, les. Take all the time you need! You've got a whole bunch of support waiting for you here when you get back! :)

oh les <3 so many hugs your way. ill keep you and yours in my prayers

@bee did af finally show? always cheering for the sunshine !

@magic where did you go? im expected af on sunday so i assume you are close lol

Les- I'm so sad for you. Take all the time you need. So sorry to hear about this.

Les, I'm so sorry to hear the news. My heart goes out to you. Take as long as you need. We will be here with love and support when you return.:hugs2:

AFM, I have just been catching up on all of your stories, sorry I've been MIA! We have been very busy moving into our new house, and unpacking all the boxes. We've been here about three weeks now and things are progressing, even if it's slow.

I had my first yeast infection in my whole life this past cycle. I got some Monostat from the grocery store and HOLY SHIT it burned!!:brat: I felt like my YI was fairly mild so I can't even imagine what other women must go through! I blame to YI on all the CP checking .. ahh! Anyway, so O was during that time so BDing was out.. too bad since I was having EWCM out the wazoo! Must be a sign, with so much going on in my life. Maybe next time. I'm due for AF in about 5 days and then there's always another chance next cycle.

Life has been changing like CRAZY for me! I just got a tremendous job offer at work! I was offered my dream position at work, with no interviews or anything! They knew I was the one for the job and I couldn't be happier! To make a long story short, I am the coordinator for a program that helps low to moderate income folks get grant funding for home down payments, business start/expansion and education. It's going to be very rewarding! I just need to get my feet under me! I am working really hard to learn everything I need to know. Not a lot of time left over for relaxation or baby planning. Plus, my new supervisor just adopted twin boys who are in the NICU right now. He travels every weekend to see them, so he is hoping they will be able to come home soon. Which means paternity leave for him very very soon. I definitely feel the pressure to be proficient at my job as soon as possible.

I feel like all this change has put baby making on the back burner, but when we get settled and start in on it again, I will be ready to go! There's something very reassuring about having the space to accommodate a growing family.. All these extra luxurious bedrooms in our new house just waiting to be filled!

Sorry I've been MIA and I hope to be more active in the thread as things settle more and more for me!

LES!!!

I'm so so sorry and saddened to have read this news. Please reach out to me anytime :hugs: I feel like there is so much excitement being pregnant with your first - and all of our energy is focused on it since we don't have other children yet. Although I tried to prepare myself for the very real possibility that a take-home baby wasn't guaranteed, I don't think it really softened the blow at all. here I am almost a year later and I still cry talking about it. it's so hard. so please reach out when you are struggling :hugs:

been away so long so I tried to stalk some of your charts!

ab - hope your little break is super relaxing and have so much fun on your cruise! I'm sure it will be awesome and before you know it the fertility clinic will have you all hooked up and pregnant!

erin - chart is looking good! it's still early :)

super - hi!!! AF came right on time even without the temp drop warning. how are you?!

ritter - glad things are going well for you at work and home! the last piece will be that baby when things calm down a bit and you are ready to jump back into ttc. Or maybe it will just happen on it's own - surprise! lol I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :)

I think I'll O in 2 days. holding out hope for this cycle after my obgyn appt last week where my cervix was poked and prodded looking for scarring. nothing was seen externally and hopefully it was actually opened up. I'll begin the fertility rounds after this cycle started with an HSG so I'm hoping that good things are in my future - specifically a baby :haha:

@Bee at least you re regular. i hope the poking and prodding works out for the best. i always feel a little hopeful after a doc visit. <3
Hopefully you get a v-day bean!!

AFM my cycles are now amazing. all those chinese herbs has made my cycles a perfect 29 days with 13-14 day LP. a vast improvement from the 31-33 day cycles with 11-12 day LP
Doctor told me my hormone levels are ideal, eggs are maturing to a good size, all that jazz. basically that there is no reason for the bean not to stick. so... any cycle now i guess

Thank you all so much for the support! It means so much to me. We have to wait until the bleeding stops and then go in for another ultrasound to check in on things before the ob will clear us to start ttc again. In the meantime feel free to drop my journal to see how I'm doing.

That sounds wonderful super <3. Feels like it is just around the corner for you!

FX for all :dust:

bee - Oh the break so far has been great. Stress levels from TTC are right down (now if only I can stop work from being stressful too!)I'm counting down the days to the cruise. My only concern with it is the Zika virus outbreak... one of our stops is in Mexico. I have managed to convince DH that we shouldn't leave the boat while we're in port, just in case.

AFM - I've had some weird cramping since the colposcopy. It comes and goes, and doesn't feel like AF cramps, more dull and achey, and then at the height of the cramp gets sharp. Mostly feel it when I move too much. I called Healthlink and they said to go see my doctor in the next couple of days. They didn't seem too concerned with it, but it is a little troublesome.

Hey ladies! I would love to join this thread. I've been with husband for 10 years, ttc for 3 months. No luck yet. Would love to have some friends to go through this with as it seems as though all of the people in my life are already pregnant :coffee: Currently on AF, BD will start next week. When are you all planning on testing next? I guess my days will be march 5 or 6. Lovely to meet you!

Les- terribly sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts, please do come back when you are ready. We will welcome you with open arms.

Ritter- congrats on your wonderful job opportunity. I know how it is to have to prioritize, but in the big grand scheme of things just seeing to your life isnt so bad. Juggling everything is crazy sometimes, me and dh also put ttc to the back of our minds and I feel much better for it this new cycle.

Super- I missed you! And everyone else for that matter.
I am cd5 today.. had a break everything was happening at once but im more relaxed and we are in both in a better place to get back to it (we had lergies, weddings, funeral you name it grrr :(

Im sorry for missing all the lovely noobs I wish you all the best ttc and no matter what you have been through or havent everyone here is non judgemental and has never cast anyone out :) I say that because you should never feel like you dont belong on a thread.. we all have had different experiences!

To all of the oldskool lot (Bee and pshyco, Trr, lvksa I hope to catch up with you soon. Good luck everyone and Aben too I shouldnt do shoutouts I miss people off lol.

This thread has died down and that makes me sad.

Ritter- congrats on the move and the job promotion. Can't wait for you to get back at it and fill those rooms with little ones.
Bee- your chart looks great and that bd pattern looks spot on. I did a month of baby dancing every day for a week and I was exhausted. I was so greatful when I was over lol.
Super- awesome that your cycles are normalizing now. Hoping that bean is gonna stick your next cycle and you don't have to wait too long.

Abe- did you end up getting a checkup for the cramps?

Kristina- welcome! We have a very supportive group here. Good luck with your upcoming cycle. Are you temping, using OPKs or any extra stuff?

Magic- hope all is well this cycle. Good luck!

Hello to all the others. Let's get this thread moving again!

Hey guys. I posted a little while back.
Hope you are all doing well.

I got my BFP two days ago. Super excited. Was supposed to go to the doctor today to confirm, but we're getting more snow than they thought and no one has come to plow us out yet, so we're going next week instead.

Congrats Sophie!

Trr- I had gone to urgent care and they couldn't figure it out. Ran some tests and said they would give me a call if anything showed up. In the meantime the pain has died down.

AFM- I caved yesterday and temped. Looks like I'm in the TWW, although I don't think this will be our month, if I'm right we only BD'd once or twice in the fertile range. Pretty sure I'm 2 DPO today.
