Hey everyone,

I'm trying to eat more healthily in the hope of helping things along in the ttc minefield... But I'm really struggling. This is our 6th cycle ttc and i've managed to gain a stone in weight from eating so much! I thought coming off the pill might lead to a decreased appetite - but for me it's been the complete opposite. And I'm eating junk food a lot. I know this isn't good for me or my eggs, but the emotional rollercoaster of ttc tends to send me running for the biscuit barrel!!

I really would like to lose a few pounds before getting pregnant - but keep thinking I'll start next cycle just in case I'm pregnant this cycle ;) and yet I know that healthy eating is a really important part of pregnancy so you'd think I'd be able to show some self control!!

If anyone has any tips or helpful ideas they'd be much appreciated and thanks for reading the rant xx

Hey Girl,

I feel your struggle. I know I've gained weight since I've been TTCing. I keep telling myself too that I'll start exercising and eating better every cycle, but I've only done it for this cycle and I'm not sure I'll continue, it's so hard. I guess if someone else tells me like a Fertility Specialist that I need to be more healthy, then I'll do something, but for now, I'm just so lazy!!!

I hope everything works out for you.

I hear ya ladies!
I've gained quite some weight too. When we went to see a Fertility specialist, she highlighted to me that I've been gaining weight and she told me to lose it to increase chances of getting pregnant.
As per my ideal body mass index, I need to lose about 5 kilos but I've been so lazy to exercise :(

Glad I'm not the only one!! I'm going to try to be positive by adding healthy things in gradually, rather than cutting out all the unhealthy. So today I
Had some melon after my chocolate buttons?! Not ideal - but better than just the chocolate buttons :)

Xx
