TTC clomid babies...

mks: think i'll be a few days behind you this cycle..i have two more days of provera then af should show about 3 days after that so i'm thinking by sunday
i'm sorry af showed for you but also really glad that you did manage to O on your own...are you taking clomid this cycle ?
also, what did the doc recommend for dh?

babysmile: i feel just like you...cant wait to get this cycle started!

mouse: i just recently bought a bbt thermometer and i'm going to try to temp this cycle...dont know how well i'll be able to keep up lol

I've heard your bbt should not be affected by surrounding temperatures, but I try to keep my bedroom consistent- if I had my window open a crack just before ov, I keep it open for the next few days and after ov for a few days. They do say not to drink liquids before taking temp bc it can change temp in your mouth. Temping is most accurate when you are consistent with taking it at the same time each day and getting over three hours sleep prior to taking temp. Good luck.
Btw, I am doing ok. Just on day 8 my cycle and still confused if I want to go thru with any treatments yet (iui) or just try to forget I'm TTC... This whole thing is really starting to get the best of me and I hate that! I'm trying to be positive and enjoy life as it is right now... in fact, my husband and I just went skydiving on Sunday- because we can! ;) talk to you all soon!

Mks - so sorry that :witch: showed :nope: Onwards and upwards though - good luck for this cycle! Did you check out Maca for your DH?

Mouse - I temp. I cant say that the weather has affected my temping. A temp dip after ovulation can indicate implantation though. I had a couple of dips below the coverline when I fell pregnant last time. When do you go for repeat bloods?

Awesome and Babysmile - bring on your new cycles! :dust:

Im on cd14. No sign of ovulation  Had a day of random spotting on cd10  Temps have been going crazy because Im full of cold. Feeling a bit despondent about the whole thing at the moment :nope:

Hope you girls are all ok! :hugs:

Awesome- not sure if i'll do clomid again, we have an appointment on friday with the infertility doctor, i'll be day 5 so if she says i should try clomid again, i'll be able to start it that day.

angel- I still have to look into what to do with dh, i think he wants to wait until friday and see what the doc says. He "says" hes done with smoking, thankfully he only smokes when he drinks so im curious to see how he does on the weekend!

Bella- my regular docs keep telling me about iui, they think thats what we're going go to have to do. Im torn about what to do. Dh wants to wait and see if he can boost his guys up some, i think if we do have to have iui, dh feels guilty that he couldn't get me pregnant without "help".

We're in the process of looking for a house to buy so im hoping that will take away some of the pressure of ttc, a little distraction may help!

Thanks for your comments on temping ladies.

I got my bloods yesterday and haven't ovulated, estrogen was still quite higher but lower than last week, so I have to go back again next week! I've got my appointment with the doc the week after so see what she says there.

A couple of you have mentioned iui-when would that be an option? My dh has strong swimmers (makes me feel super guilty but I suppose it's a good thing) so not sure we'd be given that option unless you have it for other reasons?

Has anyone had the trigger shot or know of anyone who has?

AF is here! Yay excited to start this cycle hope I have more luck...
Angel good to have you back... Haven't heard from u in a while.

Awesome are you done with provera yet?

Aww thanks Babysmile :flower: And yay for AF! Sending you lots of :dust: for this cycle! Bring it on! :happydance:

Bella - sky diving?! Wow. How was it? I think it would be utterly amazing but just know I dont have the nerve for it. I bet it was awesome though! Well done you! Sorry to hear that the whole ttc journey is getting to you. Its truly awful but you just have to keep your eye on the end goal. Chin up! :hugs: (easy for me to say to somebody else but Im feeling the same so I understand :nope: )

Mks - good luck for your appointment. I hope you make some good progress. Keep positive. And make sure there is plenty of room in that new house for a nursery :winkwink:

Awesome - have you taken your final provera? Hope it works quickly for you :hugs:

Mouse - I know what you mean - my hubby has outstanding swimmers... like - they would win medals :haha: which makes me very frustrated and guilty that its all my fault but theres not much we can do about these things - its not the result of conscious decision so its ok :hugs:

I have never had a trigger shot. I was wondering if this might be the next course of action for me. I have a very strong feeling that clomid is just not going to work for me this time around. IUI can be performed for other reasons apart from poor swimmers... sometimes it can be stuff like the PH of the woman that is the hindrance to conceiving so I would assume that, after a woman has failed to conceive through medicated ovulation then perhaps they would try IUI.

What a minefield. Remember sex ed classes? Where, even looking at a boy got you pregnant and the pill and 5 condoms were needed to protect you from getting pregnant!?!? Not likely - they never teach you all of this stuff do they - annovulation, IUI, hormonal imbalances, hysteroscopy etc... AGH!:growlmad::nope:

I start Clomid Sunday! Woohoo!!! Hopeful for this month! Hope everyone has a great long weekend!!!! <3
Babydust to us ladies!!!!

Hi girls!!

So had my appointment yesterday: we're doing clomid again this month and i'll be monitored. Had my blood drawn today and they'll call me later with the results and then i'll start clomid today. This time im on 100mg. Then on Wednesday I'm being scheduled for a hysteroscopy and endometrial biopsy. Thursday more bloodwork and then on friday another ultrasound. Has anyone else been thru any of this? Im feeling very overwhelmed!! I know about endometrial biopsy, from work and we have had patients scream like crazy so im scared to death about that!

Hi mks, sounds like you have a busy week ahead but it will be so worth it! I haven't been through or heard of either of those procedures-what are they and what are they done for?

Wow! Thats such a lot going on! All really positive steps though! Sounds like you have an ace doctor willing to do everything he can :happydance: What did your bloods show up today?

I'm sorry I dont have any experience to share but I am really interested to see how you get on! Good luck :flower:

hi ladies,

took my last provera on thursday so i'm just waiting on af to arrive, hopefully today or tomorrow then i'm taking 100mg of clomid this month and using preseed for the first time :D

mks: how come you have to do those tests? it sounds pretty extreme (i just googled them) especially after you already had to do the hsg....sigh the things we must go through
i hope neither procedure is too painful for you :hugs:

babysmile: yayyyy for this cycle! positive thoughts...it's gonna be our cycle [-o<

angelmarie: that's SOOOO true about sex ed classes
any sign of ovulation as yet?

mouse: :hugs: hope O happens soon and that next week's test brings good news!

bella: how r you doing?

Hi girls! I started clomid yesterday, i thought they said they would call with my blood results but i never heard anything, im going to call tomorrow. Apparently all these tests are standard when being treated for infertility, the hysteroscopy is when they insert a small camera and check for any polyps on the uterus, and the endometrial biospy is when they take a sample of the uterine lining. dh has to repeat his semen analysis as well. They said they want it to be done thru their lab where they do extensive testing. The doctor did say that she thinks the reason why we're not pregnant is because of my cycles, which on one hand makes sense and i pray that thats all what it is but on the other hand, hearing that was like a kick in the gut! I feel so bad that its my fault, they def didn't teach us in sex ed that being on birth control for an extended amount of time can completely mess with your schedule!!!! LOL

Awesome- hoping af shows for you soon!! I've been using preseed and i love it! What dose of clomid are you taking? So far i haven't had any side effects on the 100mg

Babysmile- good luck this cycle! Hoping this will be all of our lucky cycles!

Babydust to everyone!!!!!

Hi girls, got bloods done AGAIN today (day 33) and estrogen has gone right down to baseline level. Ive got an appointment with the doc next wed so ive been told to hold off taking the clomid until then - really not sure why. Im wondering if they'll suggest trying something different this time?

I've decided that ive done enough moping about with all of this and at the end of the day whatever will be will be, hopefully its just a matter of time. So im going to try and turn over a new leaf and think positive. I may even change my name on here as some sort symbolic transition, haha! Is that even possible or am I stuck with this one forever?

MKS - hows your busy week going?

Angel - hows this cycle going? when are due in for bloods?

Awesome - have you started your clomid yet? hows it going?

Babysmile and Bella - hows things with you guys?

I had bloods done this morning but didnt get the results back so I will call tomorrow morning. Fertility Friend has said I ovulated on cd10 but I dont think I did. I discussed with the nurses today what would be the next step and she said that if I hadnt ovulated they will probably move on to injections and I would be seen in clinic a lot more with bloods and scans galore

Mks - did you call for results?

Mouse - sorry the estrogen is right down :nope: Maybe your Doc is going to consider injections for you too? Great about the not moping around... a little positive thinking never did any harm!

How is everyone else? :hugs:

Angel- i did get my results and they said everything looked great.. tomorrow is my last day of clomid and also my day of procedures. So not looking forward to that especially after finding out i have to pay a $250 copay!!

Mouse- sorry to hear about your results but love the positive attitude!

Awesome- hows the 100mg clomid treating you? I've noticed a bit more of a discharge since starting it, not sure of thats do to the clomid.

Babysmile- how are things with you?

Im curious, are you guys seeing a infertility doctor or is your regular?

Mks - great news on your bloods! Good luck for your procedures!

Im seeing a specialist fertility Doctor. My regular doctor referred me a few months back so all my care is in their hands now.

Keep us posted with your progress! :hugs:

hi ladies,
I'm on CD5... 2 more days of Clomid then on to estrogen pills. So far not having the bad side effects of last cycle. Thank God. I bought a Clear Blue Fertility Monitor, will start to use it tomorrow. I know there's a chance it won't work because if PCOS, but I'm hopeful it will. I'm really really praying I will ovulate this cycle since I haven't the past 2.
I go to my regular doctor , he doesn't monitor me. I'm thinking if this doesn't work I'm going to take a break from all the Clomid & provera & will try the insulite labs for a while until I can see a fertility doctor. I love my obgyn, but since he can't monitor me I don't want to fill myself with medicine that isn't even working. Have any of you guys ever heard if insulite? One of the girls I met on here had been ttc for I think 2 years & Clomid did not work for her do she got preggo on insulite the 2nd cycle. It's all natural & designed for PCOS , I've been reading all about it. We'll see.

mks: Wow sounds technical but also like your on the road to success. keeping my fingers crossed those tests will run smoothly & you get very positive results! ;)

angelmarie: keep us posted on those results.

Awesome: has AF showed yet??? Wondering if you started Clomid yet. I have 2 days left

mouse: I'm sorry about the low estrogen. You are definitely right about the not moping, I think you can change your name but I don't know how lol

bella: how are you?

Af hasnt arrived yet ;( i dont know what is really going on but today i am most depressed and frustrated

Babysmile: first of all...wowww u're so pretty :D
I also recently heard of insulite and the success stories make it so tempting

Mks: how'd everything go today?

Angel: hope those results r good!!!

Mouse: i am now feeling to mope...hope i can get back my positivity soon :(
