Underhand tactics - formula companies

I would like to go somwhere next summer when LO is 1. I would like somewhere not too hot, with a pool and where you can walk to a little village or somewhere with nice authentic food.

Anyone any suggestions? I was thinking Malta as we have been before (myself and OH) and it seemed like a nice family place.

what bout Greece cos its very family centred

Greece sounds lovely. Would you reccomend anywhere in particular?

I havent been to mainland Greece but I have been to Rhodes and Zante

I would recommend Rhodes, some parts like Lindos are so pretty and if you hire a car you can see the whole Island

Southern Switzerland It's normally sunny and hot but you can either be by a lake or up in the mountains so not too hot. Food is scrummy.

Or Italy.

We always go on beach holidays but next year with 2 los I'm going to insist we either go into the mountains or to the Dordogne or somewhere.

I am the opposite - we haven't been on a beach holiday for years and tend to go off the beaten track but I fancy somewhere relaxing next year.

Will defo check out Rhodes. We don't drive though so would have to bus it around!

And leelee, I would suggest Rome, it's gorgeous. Plenty of things to do and not too hot and the food is lovely. Although unless you get a tour bus it's a fair bit of uphill walking

My blinkies are not defensive, I have one that shows I am breastfeeding and pregnant., Its ok to have a formula one just not such a vile one with the words rat poison in it.

are you trying to prove a point or something, or are you trying to get admin involved. i've removed the blinkie. what's your problem? the fact that i put it up in the first place.

maybe to prove a point? maybe some people will know how it feels now when the term artificial is used, to me, that is vile.

Ok i have a question for breast feeding mummies. If we had a world where formula was allowed to be advertised for any age group and your child was asked to model in these adverts would you let them?

Its honestly a genuine question. I would have no problem with my child being used in a formula ad but i use formula so i was just wondering

nope and I see nothing wrong with saying no either as he isnt formula fed that would be a lie. Whats the point on pretending my child is fed that product when its not? I wouldn't let my son be in an ad or a model anyway and he has been offered a contract. I am proud of my son being able to breastfeed him and would show him in a breatsfeeding advert where it would be true how he was fed.

I'd let Harrison model something we didn't use, as well as something we did. Hey he could even pretend to BF in an advert if they wanted him to. If people are open minded and accepting then i think they would know he's just a model

I mean, 99% of the people that subsidize things on tv arent using it are they - Cheryl cole's hair looks like it does, because she spends a fortune on it! Not because of Loreal!!!
