Urgent! Hr/payroll people need wages help

I'm soo annoyed!

I left a job after only being there for 2 weeks and I wasn't paid as they apparently didn't receive all my new starter details.

I sent them the details they needed to pay into my bank a chaps payment but they couldn't do that as it takes 5 days to set me up on their system.... This was last Friday. And now it's been a week and I still havnt been paid!

What can I do? What do I say to payroll I have NO money and I think they are just giving me the run around

I'm getting bank charges, where do I stand I really need help

This tells you a littl bit of what to do it an ex employer withholds wages. It basically tells you to put it in writing and it therefore becomes an official grievance. If that doesn't work toucan take them to an employment tribunal.

I personally would start calling HR and get the name of who is dealing with it. I would call them everyday to 'check progress' until I got paid. It might light a fire under them if they know you're going to keep pestering.
