I've just read through this thread and it started of all nice, I get to the end and you're talking nipple tassles

We have those tatter tots here - they're called potato crunchies, I loved them when I was younger but I haven't seen them for years!! They are different from croquettes, which have a mash potato filling, the crunchies are more like hash brown as Lisa said.

Megg did you ever try making yorkshire puddings again? I actually think there is something slightly different in the make up of your flour, because I tried making them when we visiting family in the states and they came out very similar to yours, but I make rather splendid ones here - even if I do say so myself I think you made need to add a raising agent like baking powder or something...

omg don't make me drool! Of course I only like the kind you get in Santa cruz/Monterey etc... so I almost never bother with it (I think I spent $40 on salt water taffy last time I was up there! Great flavors though like caramel apple etc!)
