RachaelMac - I know it's hard but try not to stress too much over temp, Doctors and Specialists don't recommend temping for TTC as it's not accurate enough and causes stress etc. I know alot of ladies find it helps (I'm planning on starting next cycle to see if I can glean any info from it) but the experts really don't seem to think its reliable

Have you done an OPK since cd15? xx

Ok girls, hope your all doing/feeling well, have just got back from seeing my np, she is just great! Makes such a nice change to have someone admit that us women probably know more about this ttc and all the testing that goes with it than herself, going for prog test next monday (as want one lol) and to ring and book fsh/lh when I need it depending on what happens this cycle as told her I wont be happy until I have had one done on cd3 and not 21 as done previously!

As for me opk has gone pale again so im really hoping next weeks result shows I did ov as otherwise all this pain and bloating and pos opk has all just been a nasty trick on me.

How is everyone else holding up? Wherabouts is everyone at on their cycle? Will be sooo pleased if even just one of us gets that so far elusive bfp and will keep making a new months thread until everyone on this one gets theirs!!

Not all thermal shifts are obvious. A way of clarifying whether ovulation has most likely occurred is if one of the temps after the day you think you have ovulated is a least 3 tenths above the coverline (rather than just one tenth above).

McMummyTTC-I felt so much better after my little rant so im now back to my little calm self with a what will be will be attitude! It just means wel have to BD again tonight when DH gets in from work :sad: It just threw me because i had a "perfect" peak last month and now i cant get over my cover line this time round! Ive carried on doing my OPK's as there only 10mul cheepies off ebay and if i just went off them id say it was a normal cycle (i keep all my POAS so i refere to them next cycle lol gross i no) as theres still a faint line but deff a neg but my BBT is confusing the matter. Has anyone heard of getting another positive later in the cycle on the OPK's after already having a positive???

SchoolTeacher- My temps are as follows lol mostly all at 7am cover line at 37.40
CD14 neg OPK at 12pm 37.25 Sticky CM went to EWCM in pm
CD15 pos OPK at 12:30pm and 5:30pm 37.25 EWCM
CD16 neg OPK at 1pm 37.30 Sticky CM
Today CD17 neg OPK at 12:30pm 37.35

I do only chart using .05 so i go to the closest number, last cycle i charted at 9am i went from 37.50 on CD13 which is my O Day to 37.75 on CD14 and i stayed over my coverline until CD 27 and 1 days later AF came so you can see why im confused.

Sorry if ive confused everyone else too and hope you get better soon im always getting them so i really feel your pain xxx

LOL I keep my OPKs too! They're sellotaped in a notebook for comparisons

Are you temping 1st thing in the morning, whilst still in bed before you've done anything... that's what puts me off temping... I don't really wake up at a set time every day so I think I'd struggle to get accurate reading

Your temps have risen slightly since cd14-it could be a pattern called 'stair step pattern' where your temp only rises by a tiny amount each day for the first 4 days post ov. It could be that?
Also since my earlier post I have also read that sometimes they can be a few days delay in seeing the temp shift for no reason!
This is all from a book called 'taking charge of your fertility' I would be useless without it!

McMummyTTC- I set my alarm for 7am every night so i do it every morning before i do anything then usually go straight back to sleep afterwards so i dont really notice it that often, then when im awake i just look at the temp thats been stored and note it down. Its easy once you get into it, aslong as you do it most morning it dosnt matter if you miss 1 or 2 out a month.

SchoolTeacher- Thankyou soooooooo much!!!! my temp went up again to 36.45 this morning so thats another .10 rise and im now just above my coverline and if it wasnt for you id still be panicing that i still havnt o'd but now i can see a nice curve from o to today! Im going out to buy that book at the weekend because it seems a godsend. Thanks again xxx

My thermometer arrived this morning from Access Diagnostics so I'm going to start temping in the morning....

Im sure it wont mind if you start using it now you might just catch your peak! And also i read on a website somewere that if you get a dip dont quote me but i think around 7dpo to 10dpo it can be down to implantation i noticed it on my previous chart from last month were i had high then it went down and back up again and stayed up til 2 days before my AF arrived but not everyone gets it and im sure its just wishful thinking but it keeps me busy through my tww lol

I ov'd yesterday (Ignore the ticker) the EWCM was quite clear as was my OPKs. That it was yesterday evening sometime. So I am probably heading into 1DPO... I've spent the whole day wondering around wishing to myself "Please let me be pregnant. Please let this be our month." I'm not bothered what month I have a baby...just a baby. Now would be nice.
