Wedding Rings

Me and Chris said that we would just buy cheap wedding rings for now and when we have a bit more money buy more expensive ones as we are skint paying for the wedding already!!

The problem is I can't find any wedding rings to actually go with my engagement ring coz it is such a different design. I would have to end up getting one custom made!

I have been looking at this which is actually a bridal set, so it has an engagement ring and wedding ring that match (yet again a weird design LOL) When I first looked at it, it was £301.05 and that was about 5 days ago, in that time it has now dropped down to £286.91 after already dropping several times.

I was thinking of selling my engagement ring and putting the money towards getting this but I just wanted people's ideas on it first

You could try looking on Etsy for a handmade wedding band? If I had my choice again I'd look there first coz they have some unique items on there withut HUGE price tags.

it's a lot of "shops" for handmade items, like gifty things and jewellery.
be warned, there is some crap on there, but some FAB things too. every price range catered for and LOADS of sellers do custom items. If you don't see what u want you can put in a "wanted" ad on "Alchemy"

Me and DH's rings don't match, his is just a titanium ring but its beautiful and looks expensive (but it wasn't) so I got to spend a bit more on mine, but it wasn't too expensive either, it's very me also Maybe you could do something like that?

me and james aren't having matching i don't think, we have a consultant coming out next week, as we meet a great company at the wedding fayres

Hey Hun,

My ring does not match my husbands -- they are similar but not the same. I dont think this is a necessary thing to have, especially if it is going to be a lot more money. Ours were quite cheap but look like more. (mine was $130.00 CAD and Alex's was 180.00 CAD)

I think I may have mis typed my post

We aren't bothered about mine and OH's rings matching its about my engagement ring fitting with a wedding band. Because its such an unusual shape its hard to get a band to look nice with it xx

hon have you been to some wedding fayre's?? i found the jewellers there helped me match one to my engagement ring xx

No not yet. There hasn't be many around our area. I don't think there will be anymore till about March xx
