Welcome to the 'Two Week Wait'

:hi: ladies, just checking in :) Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend. I'm surely out this month again, spotting today at 12dpo. AF is right around the bend, grrrrrrr. Quick question: for calculating my LP purposes, if I spot one day then have full fledged AF the next, the 'spotting day' is still my LP, right? I think that's how it works... just wondering because it'll be the second month in a row my LP is borderline low (11 days last month)... I'm not going to stress too much at this point because the one month I DID check my progesterone levels on cd21, they were nice and high. Thanks ladies :flower:

The two week wait is the most frusting part! I'm at 16dpo, getting BFN, but have every symtom in the book!

Hey Posey! The spotting day is indeed still in your LP. The first day of red blood counts as CD1.

And I wouldn't worry about your LP. I wouldn't consider it borderline low if it's at 11, especially since anything below 9 is an LP deficiency. You're way over 8 days and 11 days is more than enough to catch an egg and support a pregnancy. (Fertility Friend considers 10-16 days the normal range for a LP, if that makes you feel any better). Really, an 11 day LP isn't a problem.

In fact, there have even been a couple of women on BnB with LPs of 9 that have gotten pregnant...

Try not to stress about things that aren't a problem, Posey. TTC is stressful enough as it is. :hugs:

Hi Posey - my ND told me that CD1 is the first day of RED flow.... and that if the red flow arrives after 4pm that day then the CD1 will be following day. If it arrives before 4pm than it would count as CD1. Hope that helps.... and hope the Red flow doesn't arrive!!! fx.....:flower:

Anyone interested in a seeing a few ultrasound pictures from Tuesday? I don't want to post and make anyone upset, so I wanted to ask first.

Sarah - would love to see pictures!! Congrats - the little peach is looking fine!

Awww thank you for the advice/info Ella and Maria! AF officially arrived, but that means that my LP was 12 days, so I won't stress. Back to the drawing board. Hubby is going for a :spermy: analysis on March 12th, so I'll let you know how that goes... FX for those still in this month :flower:

Okay ladies this may be tmi but I have never had this observation before.

I just went upstairs to change and glanced at the mirror and had to do a double take. I am 4-5 dpo and my areolas are HUGE! Is that normal? I started to look closer because it was freaking my out. Then I noticed my veins showing through dramatically on my bbs. I have no idea what has caused this. Please help!!!

Could definitely be a sign of pregnancy! My breasts and areolas were HUGE when I first found out and my veins were practically bulging out. My breasts also felt SUPER HEAVY. Good luck to you! :flower:

Thanks! My nipples are extra sensitive too. Don't want to get my hopes up thought. The only other thing I'm having is small little cramps every now and then.

That was my first symptom with both pregnancies. My nipples were SO sensitive! To the point where I would put my bra on and it was like someone was trying to rip them off. It was horrible. They're still pretty sensitive. I never had that symptom with any of my BFN cycles. I still have little twinges of cramps too. Your uterus is typically about the size of your fist, but it needs to grow to accommodate a watermelon, so there's lots of growing to do!

Still just spotting this morning. I really wish AF would just come all ready so I can move on to my next cycle. My temp also plummeted this morning :(

How is everybody else today ?

That is SO annoying! I feel for you :( My temps are still playing around. Yesterday it was right on the cover line. This am, it was just one tenth below the cover line and nothing yet. I hope AF doesn't show up at work today because that would be horrible to stand up for several hours with cramps!! I also usually feel fluid leaking just before AF shows up. I read in my fertility book that it is the fluid in the uterus leaking out as the cervix opens in prep for AF. Has anyone else experienced this too?

I do! I feel like AF has started and then I check and there's nothing. I've read the same thing about the cervix opening too!

Okay ladies! Here they are!

The first one is a side view. The second one is the baby looking at the wand. The little hand-like thing is their heart and the black spot is their full stomach (apparently they'd been drinking the amniotic fluid right before the ultrasound). The third one is their little face!

SO EXCITED!!! :happydance:

Sarah honey, the pics are beautiful. So excited for you!!!

AFM, I have just been stalking a little here and there, I am CD 7 today. I plan on doing something a little radical this cycle, going to take my progesterone cream through the whole cycle. I think I am low on progesterone and have estrogen dominance symptoms, so I am going to take one cycle doing the progesterone to help balance it all out. This means I will probably not ovulate this cycle, but the progesterone will help "jump start" the ovaries for next cycle. I am willing to try anything at this point:)

So sorry to the ladies who got AF. Someday (hopefully soon) it will be our turn!!!

Hi ladies. Sorry I’ve been sick w/some allergy/sinus/headache/nausea crap lately so it finally knocked me down this week – off last 2 days sick. But, I’ve been trying to keep up anyway:

Gemmy – I’m having hard time telling when you ov’d – could have been CD19 or even CD20 bc of those temp mini-steps this cycle? FX for you! (I'll be checking up)

Hey Lil. Funny I have really bad sinus probs too. The cold i had is just lingering with snot and pains across my forehead and under my eyes - yuk. So I'm just taking sudafed and eating malteasers whilst catching up on here :)

Hope you feel better, sounds pretty rubbish :(

I was thinking maybe I ovulated CD18 or CD19 as they are the same temp and both slightly lower than CD17 when i got the smiley. If I don't enter the +opk FF gives me broken crosshairs for CD9. Thank goodness I know it wasn't that early.

Your chart is looking fab :) GL

Thanks Gemmy! I'm slowly comin back to the land of the living. Yup, same headache/eye pain it sounds like - fun isn't it? And it lingers forever... Hope you feel better too!

Yeah, I'm glad you knew better than CD9, too. Looks like we are both CD19 now that you got your crosshairs - yay! :happydance::happydance::happydance:

Hi thanks yes feeling slightly better, just hope it is ok to take sudafed if I am possibly implanting. I was reading people take it to try to conceive girls when ttc as it dries up cm..and I read it is ok to take in 1st tri if pregnant - so I just hope the imbetween bit is ok?

yes can't believe it was so late - cd19 and just glad I BD on cd19, cd 17,cd 15, cd14, 12 and 10!! I had a big dip under the cross hairs today, I hope I'm implanting!

Do you feel hopeful this month?

To update you...today my nipples are sooooo itchy I can't stand it. I am constantly rubbing them!! I went to grab lunch for me and the DH and caught myself doing it in public!!!!:blush: I was so embarrassed! They aren't sore at all today...not sure if that's a good or bad sign :(

My bbt did jump really high today. My bbts before ovulation were low (like 68.5-68.8). After ovulation they have been 97.5 97.2, 97.7, 97.5 and then today 98.1. I'm guessing all of this is good (my first month charting bbt so I'm still learning).

I noticed my cm is very gluey and rubber like today...is that a bad sign? Thanks for all you responses too.

The pictures of your little bun in the oven :baby: are so adorable. It is amazing how you can see all the little details already.

My nipples have been VERY itchy too. I admit to rubbing them in public too, lol. I try to be subtle though. They're not really sore, just super sensitive and itchy.

I didn't have glue-y or rubbery CM with either of my pregnancies, but I know every woman is different. I've had a lot of yellow-ish CM lately.
