Welcome to the 'Two Week Wait'

Ella -aren't you in the UK? (or was it Canada?) Oh, dirty tricks suck! But if you are getting EWCM & that temp dip...? FX you get to the bottom of this soon!!! I got  the other night after eating a chicken breast for dinner. My sister couldn't take the smell, taste, nothing to do w/chicken & all of a sudden switched to red meat (which she swore she'd never eat) when she was preg...

I go in tomorrow to test again but don't find out until Thursday. Aw, thank you for your prayers :hugs:! I'll need all I can get! :friends:

Waiting BITES THE BIG ONE, doesn't it!!!??? :grr::grr::grr::grr:

Sarah - YAY for Saturday scan!!! But that totally sucks they are making you pay for it? no money-back guarantee or anything? :winkwink: jeez...

Gemmy - I hope ov stays away for a day or 2 so you can "get your groove back"! look like temps dipping tho...? I'm sure once that test show +, you'll be "on top of it"... :haha: FX & :dust:!!!

JK - good luck - hope you get BFP! (its too early for preg symptoms tho)

Phil -take a deep breath, ommm, ommm, ommm - you are going to survive this! GL -

:dust: to everyone in the 2WW!!! :hugs: to those waiting to O! double-decker :hugs: to those w/:witch:

Hey Lil,
Way to stay positive!! I heard that it only matters that your HCG level is doubling...so hopefully it will have at least doubled on your next test. I am praying for your bean to stick.
Try to hang in there!!

Hi everyone! Welcome to the new ladies!!

Well it looks like today is ovulation day for ME:) yahoooooo!! I got a 2nd "peak" on my CBFM. I also had some EWCM today, and my nipples are SORE!! DH and I are going to do the deed again tonight.:happydance:

Laura honey, I am so sorry that you have been so sick. I really hope you start feeling better soon. I am SO glad you are still popping on to fill us in. I miss you!!!

Gemmy, glad you guys are getting settled in. I hate moving, b/c I am a perfectionist and I want everything all perfect and put together right away. I know exactly what you mean about getting busy when you are tired. DH has done it when his back is hurting, his legs are cramping up, exhausted, etc. The things we do to have a baby!!! GL!

Dear Sarah's baby:
Your mommy and daddy would like to see if you are a boy or a girl, so you need to let everyone see. Uncross those legs, please!!!

Sarah I am glad you guys are getting another shot at seeing the sex. Can't wait to find out.

Ella, dang it. How long until the blood test again? you have some symptoms happening. That is just too weird.

Maria, how are ya? Are you still in the TWW, did you test?

I am in the UK. You can't tell because I still have z's in my words and there's a shocking lack of u's in others. ;)

I think the stress of TTC is getting to my body and it has lost it. Still having EWCM. I could have :dohh: this morning. I've been temping so carefully so I could figure out what's going on. But today DH left for another trip...and he woke me up to help him. So I jumped up, helped him find some last minute things, get some stuff in his suitcase, dragged a bag to the door....and after all of it, realized I had forgotten to temp. And there came the :dohh: So my temp is higher...but is it because I was doing all sorts of stuff before I took it or is it ov related? I could kick myself. I was hoping that a high temp would explain things...like there's extra progesterone from ov, so that's why I'm feeling like this. But alas, I'll have to wait until tomorrow and see what that temp looks like. And you're right...waiting SUCKS.

DH is hoping that I'm not actually off chicken, since it's kind of a staple in our house. We eat it about 3 times a week...and it was going to be my fallback sandwich meat for when I got pg, since I heard that lunchmeat wasn't good for you. Never considered that I could be off chicken...but last night, I just couldn't stand it.

And you're very welcome. I'm hoping so hard that this beany of yours sticks. Double those numbers, beany, double those numbers. :hugs: Keep us updated!! :hugs:

Hooray for ov! Go Wendy go! :)

I'm giving it 10 more days. If I don't ov by CD24-25 (which is a week past my latest ov to date), I'm going to go back in and say that I've missed two periods and ask for a blood test. Ov is due around now, so we'll see what happens. I'm keeping an eye out for ov, but the symptoms really are weird....

Betas came back at a whopping 21. 14DPO Median range is 129. Will test again tomorrow but it would take a miracle...:sadangel:

Don't get discouraged! I was 40 at 15dpo, so there's still time. Hopefully you'll get a higher number with today's test!! I'll add you to my prayers and my baby sends yours some sticky dust!!!

TWO YEARS??? I think you need a new doctor! Holy crap! And they won't do a blood test until you've missed two periods??? My doctor will do a blood test as soon as you get a positive HPT or if you're 4 days late. That's insane!!!

I wish I could get a new doctor...I can't convince DH to move though, so I'm stuck with these people. I'm still hoping I can get the male doctor to take pity on me if it comes to it. Most men can't stand to see a woman cry, right? But yeah, that's the office policy. I suppose I should have know when the receptionist's reply to my blood test question was so snippy...

My plan is to wait another 10 days to see if ov will happen and if not, go in and tell them that I've missed two periods and ask for a blood test. And maybe I'll ask for the man doctor. I mean, if ov doesn't happen by CD24, I want them to check me out anyway for wonky cycles. I've been having super EWCM for a week straight and cramps for longer than that. I thought ov would have happened by now, but my temps aren't doing their usual downward pre-ov trend. I've got two more days until my normal ov day, so we'll see what happens in the mean time.

And how exciting! Saturday! Hopefully your little one will cooperate and give you a peek.

BIG :hugs: Lil. It's still early though and that 'pregnant' was real clear. Maybe your bean is just a slow riser. I'm going to keep everything crossed for you and your bean and I'll be adding you to my prayers. Oh Lil, I hope it all works out. When will they do your bloods again?

:hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

I have had mild sharp cramping yesterday and today (2-3dpo). What could this be from?

It could be late ovulation pains. I've read about other women having them while using Clomid. I don't think it's anything to be worried about at the moment though. Think of it as a sign of a good strong ov. I hope you caught the egg this month! :)

Wow! Your doctor sounds horrible! Obviously she's never had to ttc or she'd be more sympathetic to your questions! If they won't do the blood test with you saying it's been two cycles, tell them that you got a +hpt. Then even if the blood test is negative, you can say "Oh, must've been a fluke." Don't be discouraged by the EWCM. I had that for quite some time early in my pregnancy and the aversion to chicken is bang on. I still can't stand pork!

This clinic will let me keep coming back until the legs are uncrossed! I'm pretty sure that's what they said anyways! I'm so excited to know what our baby is! I don't think I can wait until Saturday!!

Wendy - you GET IT GIRL!!! I hope you caught that eggy! :dust: How long have you been TTC? It would be so nice if a lil Wendy could show & save you some $$$. My Dr wants $4,000 for IUI (mostly meds), whats yours going to cost if you don't mind me asking?

Sarah - Wow, thank you for giving me your #'s & giving me a little hope! If you would have heard the nurse telling me, it was all doom & gloom in her voice. Then I googled & saw I had a 6% chance...:nope: I still have some hope & we'll see what these #'s show. Thank baby Sarah (or?) for me for the sticky dust! (FX). Awwwww:crib: I love that your new place has that come back as many times as it takes policy! (:baby: Sarah please spread em!)

Ella - I thought you were in UK, so you must have been up really late the other night! Tomorrow your temp sb better & FF may change it if it was taken late? It adjusted mine already from early temp so it doesn't look so bad now. How long is DH gone for? Did you BD before he left? FX you find out something SOON! :hugs:

Maria - how are you doing? I know it is your busy season right now. Hope you are getting healthier, poor thing! So glad you have a chart now that I can stalk :haha: :hugs:

Good luck ladies :dust::dust::dust::dust:

Hey Ladies!

So I had a colposcopy and biopsies taken yesterday, which wasn't too terrible. I had my husband with me for this visit so I knew he would be a second set of ears to hopefully hear edverything that I did not. My appointment yesterday was with my "regular" OB/GYN so she was able to answer a lot of my questions. She is pretty certain I am going to need some type of treatment, which I was prepared for. However, the previous doctor I met with gave me information about a LEEP procedure and my doctor today was talking about a cope biopsy. So I did a little ready and it sounds like a cone biopsy takes more of the cervix compared to a LEEP procedure, which only takes the top layer of my cervix. Now she knows we are TTC so she said she is taking that into consideration as too what she decides to do, but my health is definitely #1. The cone biopsy is better at making sure they get clean margins, but it is more painful so therefore it will be a surgical procedure done with anesthesia. We should have the biopsy results back in about a week.

Now as far as having a baby she wouldn't really get into all the details with me because I don't think she wanted to overwhelm me, but as a medical professional myself I can tell when somebody is being vague for some reason. Ive heard that pregnancy's after a cone biopsy can be high risk, but some people go on to have babies without any problem. I think it depends on how much if my cervix needs to be removed.

All of this is very nerve racking. My doctor says that this is caused by the high-risk HPV and that is probably has been dormant and my immune system has been fighting it for a while. If my immune system is compromised by stress then is can allow the virus to come out and cause changes on my cervix. My husband and I have had a really rough 2 years that have been very stressful. Between gettings married, buying a house, my husband being back in school, and TTC along with my horrible in-laws making everything 10x's more stressful it's no wonder this is happening. My husband and I already had along discussion about my stress levels and he is going to have to step up to the plate with his parents a lot more. He lets them get away with too much b/c he is just such a nice guy. My lifestyle definitely needs to change. I have to learn to let things go a lot more and have a clearer perspective about what is truly important. My life!

Sorry this is so long! I appreciate having you guys to listen to me.

So ladies just an update. I'm now about 5dpo and now have white creamy cm(tmi) I've been sleeping a lot lately, didn't even wake up til 3pm today. So not like me at all. I had a temp drop yesterday to 97.2 but then it shot back up today to 98.0. So maybe that's a good thing. I also felt a little tightness/pulling towards my left side on my lower abdomen. Starting to pray....maybe these are good signs..

Fingers crossed.
Hoping for the best.

Lil - Sweetie - I wish I could take this pain away... I'm SO sorry girl....:nope: You will get there soon I know it.... BIG HUGS:hugs::hugs::hugs:

Lily,
I hope everything goes well with the procedure. Try not to stress, and pamper yourself....get a pedicure, a massage or acupuncture. Try to take care of YOU. I know what you mean, I have a stressful job and I believe that has a lot to do with why I don't ovulate every month, and why we aren't PG yet. Stress rots. Good for your DH that he will stand up to the in-laws. I am thankful mine are older and live back in MI.
